Scootin' by...

Hi again! I'm playing catch-up on the MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenges. This is for week 28. All of the stamps are from the newer You Move Me set. My poor scooter sure is
facing an uphill battle, huh?! Ha! I also used the scooter to make my own dp for the panel under the main one. The little strips of dp are from JilliBean Soup. The sentiment "scooting by to say hi" is all one stamp, but I broke it up so it would fit on the file tab dienamic. The two larger cloud puffs are dies included in the You Move Me set (how cute, right?!?!!). I cut the smallest one by hand. The sketch called for two little embellishments on the upper right, but when I started adding buttons, I decided to go with a stop light! Here's a pic of the inside:

Nothing fancy, just the rest of the sentiment, another stamped scooter and some matching dp. I'd much rather use those extra strips of dp, than have them laying around my craft room!

Catch ya later,

*knock, knock* - Is this thing on?!

Loooong time, no see! How y'all been? I'm thrilled to report that we are just about all settled into the new house and I just got my craft room about 95% set up!!!! Can I get a *WOOT* *WOOT*?!?!!! I'm truly blessed to be able to have a craft room, though it did mean that two of the boys have to share a room now. They're little and don't mind one bit - well, maybe the 10 y.o. does some, but not the 7 y.o.! :) On to the card...

I've had a nice stash of new goodies patiently waiting for me. This card uses the new Aim High PI by MFT. There are 4 different MFT dienamics on here! The little flourish next to the rolled rose doesn't actually look like that. Once I cut it out, I clipped it here and there to piece it together and make it work for that spot. All of the dp is from the new Authentique 6x6 pad. It's so yummy! They also have a pack that has blues in it and one with pinks - something just drew me to the yellow one. And who doesn't love a kite with a blingy string! Some faux stitching, a few panels up on pop dots and a brad in the center of the rolled rose finish it all up. I'm loving how her hair turned out. While blogging, I noticed a few people saying that they blend too much when using Copics, so I tried not to blend so much and definitely got the look I was hoping for.
Ok, I sure do hope to see y'all around here more often!

Hugs,
