CC489, Happy birthday
Hi all! Here's a Clean and Simple card for today's color challenge at SCS. Love this color combo!!! I scored the top and bottom edges of the pool party card stock. I used the Happy Birthday die-namics to cut out "happy" from the grout gray card stock then added bermuda bay card stock behind it, popping it up on rolled glue dots. I've been rolling my glue dots a lot lately, huh!? I like the little bit of dimension that it adds without being too bulky. The "birthday" was cut out of coral card stock. I stamped the smallest bloom from Sweet Roses in grout gray then added a bling trio and some piercing for extra detail. I also made this for The Cutting Edge Challenge #5.

Clean and Simple Happy Birthday
Hi all! Just a quick clean and simple card I made for the, you guess it, Clean And Simple Challenge on Splitcoaststampers. The challenge is to use up ribbon scraps. I dug through my ribbon bin and found the smallest scraps I could find. I adhered them to a scrap piece of card stock then ran it through my Vagabond using MFT's Party Balloons die-namics. The sentiment is from a now retired MFT set, which I stamped in Razzle Berry ink. The card base is lemon drop and measures 4x4. I popped up the smooth white card stock and rounded one corner. Easy schtuff!!! ;)

Sending happy thoughts
Hi all! Here's a card I made for the Featured Stamper challenge on the Splitcoaststampers website. I believe you have to be a fan club member to view this challenge and I've said it before, it is SO worth it! TONS of inspiration! This Jumbo Poppy is from Stampendous! I inked it with the Kaleidacolor ink pad in Tahiti then spritzed the stamp with stamp cleaner. Most people use water for this type of technique, but that's what was handy. The sentiment is from an MFT set, All Smiles, which is now retired. I added a fuse green button and some hemp thread for the flower center. I used gumdrop green card stock for the card base and safety orange to mat the image and really bring out the colors in it.

Your Next Stamp Fun Friday Challenge - Happy Birthday!
Hi all! Happy Friday!!! Here's my card for the current YNS Fun Friday Challenge #14. I used the Inspiration Pic for my card. I colored this digital stamp, Floating down the river, with my Copics then cut it out with my oval STAX. I added a banner using several die-namics and an alphabet set. A few other fun die-namics and a couple of buttons add extra details.
I also made this card for the Splitcoaststampers Dirty Spies Fan Club Challenge (became a Fan Club Member!!! So worth it!!!) and the Color Throwdown Challenge 302.

MFTWSC186, CPC7, WT489, Love the here and now
Hi all! Here's my card for the MFTWSC186, Color Palette Challenge 7 (CPC7) and the Splitcoaststampers WT489, which was to use Lots of Dots. I used my Large Polka Dots stencil to sponge Sno Cone dots on the large Sno Cone layer, Blu Raspberry dots to the Blu Raspberry layer and then a combo of the two colors on the smooth white card stock. I stamped the sentiment from Chalkboard Greetings in black licorice. I wanted to add a bit more of the Tangy Orange color (from the Color Palette Challenge), so I cut out a second circle to place under the Blu Raspberry rectangle. A tiny banana split banner and some ribbon, along with some enamel dots add the finishing details.

CC488, SC298 - Happy Birthday
Hi all! Here's a card I made for the Splitcoaststampers Color Challenge and Sketch Challenge for this week. I used the four lighter colors in the challenge, plus a touch of the dark pink. I love this sweet girl from the BB Sweet Birthday Wishes set! I colored her with Copics and added Stickles to the blue icing. The gift stamped on the pierced circle STAX and the sentiment are also from that set. I added a little more detail by sponging on some diagonal stripes using my diagonal stripes stencil in pink lemonade and Sno Cone inks. I'm so totally loving this stencil!

MFTWSC185, Curtain Call - Have a sweet day!
Hi all! Here's a card using the MFTWSC185 and the Anything Goes Curtain Call Challenge! I inked up the cupcake and one of the sentiment's from the new BB Sweet Birthday Wishes set. The cupcake was cut out using the matching die-namics. I colored it with Copics then added some stickles and bit o' bling. I used my diagonal stencil to create the striped background with some grout gray ink. I'm so hooked on using different die-namics and blueprints for embossing rather than cutting, which is how I got those scored lines and stitching around the sentiment (with one of the Blueprints 1 elements). I also used some elements from Blueprints 6 and Blueprints 13. The card stock colors I used are grout gray, Sno Cone, Blu Raspberry, smooth white and pink lemonade.

Nothing but blue skies ahead
Hi all! Here's a card I made for two challenges over on Splitcoaststampers! Today's technique challenge (by my old stamping friend, Judy!) was scoring (hence the criss-crossing trio of scores lines) and the CAS (Clean And Simple) challenge was "a day at the beach". There are lots of things that just scream 'beach!' and I think palm trees is one of them. I love, LOVE the beach!!! I paper pieced the entire palm tree from an old There She Goes set (by Torico, who now designs for MFT). The sentiment is from the Blue Skies Ahead set, which I stamped in kraft ink and cut out with the pierced circle from Blueprints 3. The card base is Blu Raspberry.

DS160, CQC250, You make every day a happy one
Hi all! Here's my take on the latest Deconstructed Sketch 160 and the Colour Q challenge 250. I loved them both, so I thought they would make a great combo! The sentiment is from the Complimentary Greetings set. The flowers, leaves and little stitched flag are all from the Blueprints 12. I used orange fizz, sour apple and Blu raspberry card stocks, then added some enamel dots as the flower centers. I also added a trio of black enamel dots just like the sketch showed (one is on the black and white polka dotted DP, so you may not be able to spot it). The stamping on the leaves was from a leftover piece from a previous project (I have a hard time parting with scraps!). I cut out two of each flower, layered them, then curled the top petals for dimension.

CTS85, CTD301, Hello
Hi all! Here's my Clean And Simple (CAS) take on the CTS85 along with the CTD301 challenges. The small images you see on the grout gray card base (far left) and the larger Sno Cone damask are from the MPD Damask Designs set. The sentiment, stamped in kraft ink, is from a now retired MFT set, I believe and was cut out using one of the Blueprints 13 elements. The sweet tooth layer and coral dp layer are both up on foam adhesives for dimension. I added some small white sequins for a little something extra.

SPDSS06, Love you bunches
Hi all! Here's a card I made using a set from SugarPea Designs called Love You Bunches. I just couldn't pass up this sweet set! The sketch is from the SPDSS06 over on the SugarPea Designs blog. I colored her up with Copics then used two of my small cloud die-namics to create masks then sponged on some Sno Cone sky. I ordered some new dp a couple of weeks ago and thought it was about time I cut into it! ;) Some yellow twill and brads add the finishing details. Don't you love the font on that sentiment??!!!

YNS Fun Friday - Sailor Birthday
Hi all! Happy Friday! It's time for a new Your Next Stamp Fun Friday Challenge! I decided to go with the sketch challenge and used this cute Little Sailor Boy digital stamp. I colored him with Copics, then fussy cut him and popped him up on rolled up glue dots. I used a couple of my star die-namics to cut out parts of the dp, then filled them with navy blue stars. A few brads, thread and an anchor add the finishing touches.

Curtain Call: Ah-mazing!
Hi all! Here's a card I made for the current Curtain Call Blog Challenge. I love that picture! I used one of the sets I got as part of my Stamping Royalty winnings from Cas-ual Fridays Stamps called Exclamations. The card base is Sno Cone. I used MFT's Razzle Berry, Pink Lemonade, Cotton Candy, Orange Fizz and Berrylicious inks to match the colors in the challenge picture. The main panel was layered with black licorice card stock, then popped up on foam adhesives. I used the larger rectangle in the Blueprints 1 to emboss around the outer edge of the card base. A few black enamel dots finish it all up.
