TAWS Sneak Peek Day 2!

Hi all!!  Welcome to the TAWS Sneak Peeks - Day 2!!!  Today, we are featuring the soon to be release set called From Us.  It is a sentiment set and covers everything from birthdays, congrats, sympathy and everything in between.  Seriously, this is a great set!  I paired it up with another soon to be released set, Wispy Wishes.  I broke up the sentiment so that it fit over the image exactly how I wanted :)  I clear embossed one of the leaf images from the Wispy Wishes set onto the card base.  Really kicks it up a notch, don't ya think?

Season's Greetings

Hi all!  Here's another card I made using of the many sweet images from the TAWS Mistletoe Kisses stamp set.  I colored up 3 of the poinsettias and fussy cut them.  I popped them up and added some gold sequins.  Soooo.... I started a new job.  I'm excited about it and think I'll love it but....  it means I need to plan my crafty time a bit better hence the pic with poor lighting. {sigh} I'll take a better one and add it later.

Thanks for stopping by!  TAWS Sneak Peeks start tomorrow!!!  YAY!!!

Merry, merry, merry, merry...

Hi all!  Here's a card I made using some new Reverse Confetti goodies!  I was inspired by the CTS145 sketch (but didn't make the cutoff) and also the current CTD365.  So I made the background with wild cherry dye ink in the hopes that it didn't make anyone think of the show Dexter.  Lol!  I cut out 'merry' using the Winter Words confetti cuts, being careful to keep the middle pieces for the 'e' and 'y' then popped it up over smooth white card stock.  'Christmas' is from the Winter Words coordinates set.  A few bright pink gumdrops and a gold foil layer make this card even more festive.  :D

Skatin' by...

Hi all!  Here's quick little card I made using the TAWS Waddle Pals stamp set.  It's such a cute set, I can't stop using it!  I curved the sentiment so that it fit the circle die.  I added a vellum snowflake and some clear sequins for extra detail.

Have an ice day

Hi all!  Here's a card I made using some TAWS goodies - the Waddle Pals set (penguin and sentiment) plus one of the ice images from the FREE when you spend $40 set called Chilly.  A cool blue background is perfect for this little guy.  I used the SSSC291 sketch.  The card base is the new stone gray color from MFT {love}.

Merry Christmas

Hi all!  Here's a fairly quick Christmas card I made using an image from the new Mistletoe Kisses set with a sentiment from an older set called Making Holiday's Bright.  I do not own a fancy stamp tool that would allow me to line up the wreaths exactly so yes, they're a little off. And I'm totally ok with it because it is handmade after all ;)  Maybe one day I'll break down and get a MISTI...  I colored the wreaths with Copics and used a gold glitter pen for the ribbons.  I used die-namics and Blueprints to cut the stitched layers and scallops.  The sentiment is embossed.

Bring on the snow

Hi all!  Ok, so I'm not really ready for snow, but this little guy on my card is!  :D  This is one of the many adorable images from the TAWS set Mistletoe Kisses.  The sentiment is from Waddle Pals.   I colored the snowman with Copics and layered him over a watercolored background.  The sentiment was stamped with Sweet Tooth ink and embossed with clear ep.  I added matching teal-ish and clear sequins for extra detail.  I love this teal and Grapesicle color combo for Christmas cards!  The sketch is from the SSSC290.

You're Awesome

Hi all!  Happy World Card Making Day!!!  Yes, for my non-crafty friends, it IS a thing!  ;)  I HAD to make a card for this special day so here ya go.  I used the MFTWSC248 sketch to create this card.  SCS is having their Hope You Can Cling To Challenge going on right now.  It's all about supporting breast cancer research and creating cards to send to some amazing patients at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.  Today's challenge is "I am a Warrior", so of course, this image from the You're Super set was perfect.  I embossed her on watercolor paper then colored her with my Zig pens.  I used several MFT die-namics to create the layers.  The rounded stitched rectangle was done by smushing some Picked Raspberry Distress Ink onto watercolor paper and spritzing it.  Once it was dried, I laid the Starry Night stencil over the top then pressed onto with a wet paper towel so that it would pick up the ink where the stars were - clear as much??  Lol!  You can see the subtle stars here and there - totally love how it turned out!  And I love that silver glittered paper!

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you find some time to get crafty!  :D
