Happy Mother's Day

Hi all!  I wanted to share this card I made for the MFTWSC120.  I couldn't wait to use this Sweet Roses set that is newly release by MFT!  I used the matching die-namics to cut the roses and leaves out of some Echo Park dp.  Then I used their Black Licorice ink to stamp the outlines of the roses and leaves.  I rolled up the edges of all of them for extra dimension and added some black stickles to the centers.  The sentiment is also from this set, which I cut out using the open scallop doily duo and stamped in their black licorice ink and popped up on pop dots.  The banners on the left are one of the Mix & Match banners die-namics that I just cut down to fit on my card front.  I  rolled up the edges of those, as well.  The black cardstock was cut out using the largest rectangle in the Blueprints 1 die-namics combo {OMG, I SO love these!!!}  I added a button and some black hemp thread for the finishing details.

SACC #4 - Hello

Hi all!  It's Friday which means it's time for another Sister Act Card Challenge!  This week, I've used a digi stamp from Digi Darla called Dogwood Bouquet.  Well, I thought they looked like poppies, so I colored them as such.  ;)  I kept this very CAS because I wanted those poppies to, well, POP!  ha!  I cut them out with MFT's Labels 2 STAX.  The green cardstock (MFT) was cut out using the Jumbo Fishtail Banner STAX.  The sentiment is from their Sweet Roses set - I thought it looked perfect with these gorgeous flowers!  A little bling finishes it up....

SACC #3 - Soldier Boy

Hi all!  If I confused on what day it is because of my post, yes, I'm a few days late with our 3rd challenge on the Sister Act Card Challenge Blog!  Between having a killer migraine last week and studying and baseball and...  ok, you get it!  So our sponsor this week is Resale Clipart.  They "offer hand drawn clip art graphics saved in large transparent PNG format for your crafting and scrapbooking needs."  AND they are generously giving away a $20 gift certificate!!!  These are already colored images, incase you didn't know, so they are perfect if you need a card but don't have the time to color an image!  I'm going to save this card for my youngest who will turn double-digits this August!  {wah!} He absolutely loves anything military/soldier related.  The sentiment and other stamps, including the arrows are from MFT's set, First Class Friend.  I also used one of their die-namics from Flags & Tags to cut out the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by and see ya soon!

Make a birthday button wish!

Hi all!  Here's a fun card I made for the CAS (Clean And Simple) challenge on SCS today.  I was so inspired by the picture, I made this card soon after I got home this evening!  The sentiment is from MFT's set, Birthday Sentiments, which I stamped in their NEW Orange Fizz ink!  The buttons were cut out using their button border die-namics.  I strung them together with some hemp thread and added a little MME "bling".  I rounded one corner for extra interest.  The cardstock is all MFT - Sweet Tooth, Natural and Blu Raspberry.

1st Sister Act Card Challenge!

Hi all!  I'm so excited that the day has finally arrived to kickstart our weekly Anything Goes Challenges over on the Sister Act Blog!  This week we are fortunate to have a sponsor company, Crafty Sentiment Designs.  They have so many darling images, I'm sure you'll find something that you have to add to your stamp or digi collection!  For my card, I've used Sally - It's party time!  I colored her with copics and used one of Karen G's sketches.  I've added bling, piercing and MFT die-namics for my finishing touches.

And a peek at the inside...  Both the "Celebrate" on the front and inside sentiment are from MFT's latest Triple Scoop set.

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to stop by all of the DT's blogs for some Fabulous inspiration!!!
