Have a Super Day

Hi all!  Here's my take on the latest MFTWSC381 using the You're Super set (I have the original released a couple of years ago, I believe). I colored her with Copic markers.  I did a tone on tone look with the New York skyline die-namic using Sno-Cone and Grout Gray cardstock.

And if you're the praying type, I'd ask that you say one for my Aunt T (short for Tricia) - she is in very poor health.  She has had MS over half her life but it looks like cancer will be what takes her.  She is one of the sweetest people I know.  Thank you.

Thanks for stopping by!

Birthday Blog Hop Celebration!

Hi all!  Welcome to Michele's 50th Birthday Bash Blog Hop Celebration!!!
Our fearless leader is celebrating her birthday in a BIG WAY!  We have an awesome blog hop with FAB prizes! Michele is giving away 5 $50 gift certificates!  YES - 5!!! Simply comment as you hop along for your chance to win!  You should have arrived here from Larissa'a Blog. On to my card!  So I kinda goofed which means y'all get a SUPER sneak peek at a soon to be released set! Sign up for the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Newsletter for more info!  I embossed 'Celebrate' with black embossing powder then sponged on some fun inks, blending slightly as I added each color.  I then spritzed with water and let it sit for just a couple of minutes before soaking it up with a towel. I used glittery paper to cut out the fun trio of dies that go along with this set!  Again - a SUPER Sneak Peek of a set being released in May!

Hop on over to Nora's Blog next!!!

Thanks for stopping by!

The Card Concept challenge time!

Hi all!  I'm a day late, but here it is - my card for the latest The Card Concept challenge!  Such a pretty picture!  And you would've thought I would take the flower-route because of the pic, but I was inspired by the sweet treats.  Plus these  Birthday Chicks were calling me.  :)  Everything was colored with Copic markers. I layered a couple of the stitched tag-corner square STAX to create the frame for the chicks.

We would love for you to play along with us!
