I have to admit that I was quite intimidated by this week's Sketch Challenge! I almost didn't even attempt a try at it! But fortunately, once I sat down I glanced across my desk and saw some Brocade Blue cardstock that I've had out for a while, so I thought, ok, I'll use that. Then everything slowly started coming to me and here's the end result! I just *love* when a card comes together that quick, which has not been the case for me in a long time. I used ink from my Brocade ink pad and a watercolor brush for the leaves. I used Green Galore and Celery for the leaves. I decided to mix it up and use buttons and brads for the flower centers. There's some sponging around the sentiment layer as well as piercing, plus I stamped the Baroque swirl on it with Brocade after stamping off once first. And that's it! I'm so happy with how it turned out. Well, I hope you like it!!! hugs ~
