Today's THE day!

Now that we've teased and tempted you all week long, it's almost time for you to grab all of your favorite Brand Spankin' New products from MFT!!!

But first…it's time for our Die-namics Feature and Pre-Release PEP Rally!

Our Design Team has been busy creating jaw-dropping and inspiring projects for you, and we've saved the best for last...

Here is an in-depth look at some of this month's Die-namics, with an opportunity to revisit the amazing sets being released tonight at 10pm EST RIGHT HERE.

And while we are at it, how about we make your life even easier with a "cheat sheet" of all that's new? Head over to the MFT Blog to print out a shopping list.

Here are the details about the upcoming release on September 6 at 10 PM EST:

  • The MFT release is on September 6 at 10 PM EST. You can attend the release party from 8-10 PM EST here in the forum for fun, games, and prizes! All the new sets and dies will be available September 6 at 10 PM EST.

  • Be sure to check in on the guest designer contest to see who is crowned the winner. The announcement is made in the release party thread, AND on the guest designer contest thread in the MFT forum on SCS. The winner will receive over $100 in stamp sets and play along with the design team next month.

  • If you'd like to see all the teasers for today, please click on over to Kim's blog NOW! Be sure to leave comments as you go for a chance to win one of 2 $10 vouchers being given away daily, just for leaving a comment. :) The final 2 winners will be announced at the release party, and will also be contacted by e-mail.

Shortly after receiving these dies, I had the idea for this mini album. I have to say, I. AM. IN. LOVE. WITH. IT!!! I had planned on maybe sending it to my mom since we recently moved two hours away from her and I know she misses her grandsons... but I may have to make another one so that I can keep this one! For the first and last "pages", I used the Homespun Birdhouse dienamic to cut out some chipboard to make the album sturdier then covered it with dp that I also cut out with the same dienamic. The roof of the birdhouse was also made using chipboard then covered it with cardstock that I stamped with the woodgrain stamp in the set. The bottom part of the house was also done the same way. The sentiment is from the same set, but I cut it apart once I stamped it.

Right inside the cover, I used the bird dienamic from this set plus the leafy flourish die, part of the You Move Me die and the dizzy doily which I just cut to fit the page. I stamped "Home" from the set onto the mini ticket border die and attached it with a mini paper clip. And that's the 1st day of school smile I get from my 14 y.o.! Too cool to smile, so I just get a smirk, *sigh*...
For pages 3 and 4, I used the banner day dienamic and layered the little postage die from First Class Friends dienamics and stamped it with a heart from that set. There's also a bit of the medium scallop on there with some ric rac. Under my sweet 10 y.o.'s pic is a bit of the You Move me dienamic and some lace.
The dienamics on pages 5 and 6 are the heart from the Homespun Birdhouse and bit of the postage die from First Class Friends. I also added some ric rac and fancy ribbon. "Love" was stamped onto the mini ticket border die and attached with a mini paper clip. My 8 y.o. might look happy here, but was not near as much on the 2nd day of school, poor kid. It's better now (thanks to the book, The Kissing Hand!)...
And a quick pic of the back... I punched holes and added eyelets to every page then tied it all together with cappucino twine. I SO love how this little project turned out!!! It was so super easy to put it all together because all of the dienamics work amazingly well together!

Ok, the countdown is on for the release PAR-TAY!!! WOOT! WOOT! I can't WAIT!!! Hope to see you all there, shopping lists in hand!

Thanks a TON for visiting me every day and for ALL of the encouraging words!!! Y'all sure can make a girl feel special!

Hugs,
