MFT Teaser Time - Day 1

Hi all!  Wahoo, it's MFT Teaser Time!!!  Brace yourselves for 7 days of O.M.Goodness moments because this release is AMAZING {but who didn't know that?!!!}!!!  First up is the Who's that Girl/Guy set, Godspeed.  I have to say that I truly love this set, having served in the military myself (AIR FORCE!) , plus my hubby has been in the AF 19 years, my brother was in the Army, a cousin was in the Coast Guard, my BIL is in the Air Force (hubby recruited him!), and a couple of uncles were in the Navy.  So yea, this set is pretty awesome in my book!  There are two images in this set.  I decided to use the Guy image.  The uniform is more of an Army one, so I stamped his left arm again, omitting the patches.  I added my own Air Force stripes then pieced the new sleeve over the other one and voila - Air Force Guy!!!  I used the new Star Stax to add extra dimension to the dp.  Lots of faux stitching and a sentiment banner using the Fishtail Flags Stax finish it up.  I kept it on the cleaner side because I'm sure we'll be needing to give this to one of hubby's coworkers {or maybe I'll need to give it to him!} sooner than later.

More Star Stax and another sentiment from the set inside...

And, because I couldn't help myself, I made a second card!  It's fairly CAS, if you call using 22 brads CAS!  I broke up another sentiment from the set {there are SEVERAL!} and stamped it onto the Traditional Tags Stax to make a banner using some twine.  These Traditional Tags Stax have a thicker border, so I trimmed off the embossed edge to make the border thinner.  The tiny stars are from the smallest Star Stax die-namics.  I love that cool Notched Border die-namic!  And yea, there was just a little piercing involved on this one, hehe!

Here's a peek at the inside...  These are the largest two Traditional Tags Stax!  Yep, just add those to your must-have list!!!  Yet another sentiment from this set and more piercing finish the inside.  This card will be perfect to slip in hubby's luggage before he leaves for one of his trips.  I'm cool like that.  ;)
