Hi all! Here's a card I made for the CTD358 challenge, as well as the MFT Card Design Superstar contest. For the background, I inked up the MFT scallops stencil with some Ranger blueprint sketch distress ink, spritzed it with water, then laid a piece of smooth white card stock on top and lightly pressed all over. I then lifted the card stock and used my heat gun to dry the ink. I decided I wanted to add more texture so I added more water droplets, blotted a bit with a paper towel, then dried it again. I then cut the piece out with my cross-stitch rectangle STAX and layered it over blueberry prestige card stock (which matched the ink perfectly!). I added some circle scribble flower dies, inking up the leaves with jellybean green ink, then layered them over the embossed sentiment from the Totally Happy stamp set. I added some BRI sequins to help add to the embellishment cluster.
Thanks for stopping by!
I absolutely love the way you used that stencil! Good luck in the challenge!
