MFT Teasers - Day 2

Hello and welcome to day 2 of the MFT Teasers!!!! Is that new WTG TOO COOL or what?!?!! Today we have three sets we're featuring and I have two cards for you. The first is using the stunning Inspired by Lighthouses. *LOVE* There are 3 beautiful lighthouses with several sentiments. I inked up this lighthouse using my SU markers (*gasp, I know, right?!*) and then went over it lightly with my aquapainter (wow, that takes me back a couple of years!). I wanted to soften the look so I covered it with vellum. Don't you love how nicely it fits in the First Class Friend die-namic?!! Those girls sure know what they're doing, I tell ya! The outer teal layer was distressed and sponged with some cocoa ink. Oh, and the sketch is from the sweet Karen G.!

Here's a detail pic. This sweet little embellie was made using the circle from the Ring Me die-namic {swoon} and see those little points? It's from the scrumptious new Botanical Beauty die-namic! Yep, it's one of the flower centers but with the circle and brad over it, it felt nautical to me.

Inside pic: that strip of espresso cardstock is the negative from the postage stamp edge die-namic that I used on the front of the card! I love using my scraps!!

Now for my second card I used the new Fix-it Fred. Ain't he the cutest?! He was colored with copics, cut out and put up on pop dots. Hey, look, remember eyelets?!?! LOL! I decided to bust mine out {must be in a throwback mood!} since I feel they work well with masculine cards. I stamped the sentiment directly onto twill (and yes, I meant to have it more to the left of the card *wink*) and added some cappucino twine. Other die-namics used on this card are the crown border and You Move Me, which I can't say enough about. I. Love. That. Die-namic! The denim dp was embossed with a houndstooth folder then sanded to bring out the details.
