Hi all! I'm back! In case you wondered, we had a major renovation project in our house thanks to a toilet leak. We spent 57 nights in a hotel. Not. Fun. But it's all done and we're back home :)  Here's my card for the latest The Card Concept Challenge:

I used some retired MFT die-namics and a messy watercoloring technique using my Zig pens for the flowers.

Small Card - Big Thanks

Hi all! Here's a card I made using the MFT Color Challenge #102 and their sketch challenge #405. I used the More Rustic Flowers stamp set and dies to create the main layer. I also added an extra flower with some Glossy Accents for extra dimension.  I embossed the sentiment, from the Bitty Bears set, onto black licorice card stock. The card base is Cement Gray.

The Card Concept Challenge Time!

Hi all! It's time for our last challenge of the summer over on The Card Concept Blog! I loved the gold and pinks so I embossed the Floral Fantasy BG stamp on some watercolor paper then used a few inks to swipe on some color, similar to the table card. I added a little twine behind the embossed sentiment from the Brushstroke Expressions set (retired).

A flowery thank you

Hi all!  Here's a card I made for the latest MFTWSC373 challenge.  I used one of my favorite flower sets, Funky Flowers, along with a sentiment from Geometric Greenery.  I created the background using Copic markers and added texture using the blending solution ala Kathy Racoosin.  Yes, I was totally trying to channel her especially since I was fortunate enough to attend one of her Color Challenge Classes recently! The flowers were also colored with Copics, a bit of colored pencils and accented with a white gel pen.

CAS-ual Stamps Friday Challenge

Hi all!  I hope this week went by as fast for you as it did for me!  And that means it's time for a new CAS-ual Fridays Challenge!  I adore this Pretty Posies stamp set!  The sentiment is from as retired CAS-ual Fridays set.  I did a very loose watercoloring of the flowers and leaves with distress inks on watercolor paper.  I added glossy accents to the flower centers.  The sentiment is embossed with white embossing powder.

TS Monday - Thank you

Hi all!  This week on the Totally Stampalicious blog, we're challenging you to make a Thank You card or project.  I decided to ink up this image from the newly released A+ Bears set.  Isn't he adorable!?!!  I colored him with copics.  I think this would be a cute thank you card for a teacher.  I kept this card pretty CAS - fishtail flags stax help anchor the image and faux stitching around the dp add an extra touch.

Regal kisses

Here's my latest creation combining 2 challenges ~ the color challenge on SCS to use regal rose, burgundy and kiwi kiss, and Julee's Mojo70. I decided to use one of my Verve sets. The flowers were watercolored and some are on dimensionals. The flower centers have pink gemstones on them. The border punch is a new one (I think) from fiskars.
