SPD Mix It Up Challenge - Grateful for You

Hi all!  Welcome to another SugarPea Designs Mix It Up Challenge.  This month we are still working with the Anything Goes theme!  For my card, I did some watercoloring using my Zig pens and stamped a sentiment from the Lovely Leaves stamp set directly onto the background.  I then layered part of the Homescape SugarCuts die over it then adhered then entire piece to my smooth white card base.  A nice, quick thank you card because we all know how nice it is to feel appreciated :-D

Lil Inker Designs New Release Blog Hop - Day 3!

Hi all!  Welcome to Day 3 of the Lil Inker Designs New Release Blog Hop!

You may remember this card from the Coffee Lover's Winter Blog Hop.  Trust me, I had another card in the works and life unexpectedly got in the way (trust me, you don't want the details!), so alas, here is my card using the newly released Latte Love stamp set and matching dies.  I love these cups and the different designs you can stamp in them!  And the sentiments are Super!  After stamping the 'coffee' inside the cups, I colored in the white parts left behind with a Copic to give it that coffee creamer look.  The sentiment is embossed and I have to add a couple of circle banner dies, buttons and twine.

Lil Inker Designs New Release Blog Hop - Day 2!

Hi all!  Happy Tuesday and welcome to Day 2 of the Lil Inker Designs New Release Blog Hop!  

I know you're excited about this release so I'll get right to my card!  Today I created a background using the small images from the Friends stamp set.  I used my Copics to color them in after randomly stamping them onto Neenah white card stock.  I cut out the new matching Friend word die from gold foil and black card stock.  Isn't that such a cool font!?  Now, let's talk about the Happy Birthday sentiment - I created it using the new Sassy Script Capitals & Numbers stamp set that matches the previously released Sassy Script stamp set.  How totally fun are these?!!?  Endless sentiments at your fingertips!  You can personalize ALL THE THINGS!  :D  Ok, back to the card...  I easily stamped out the sentiment then added some gold YNS gumdrops.  I added a strip of gold foil and black card stock to separate the two layers.

Lil Inker Designs New Release Blog Hop - Day 1!

Hi all!  Welcome to Day 1 of the Lil Inker Designs New Release Blog Hop!

 I'm going to get right to it because we have quite a bit of eye candy for you!  My card today features the Corner Adorner stamp set and the Because word die.  Just LOOK at that flower stamp!  GAHHH!  I embossed it with gold embossing powder then colored in the image with various colors of metallic watercolors.  The 'because' was cut out 3 times for extra dimension, then layered over a sentiment from the Corner Adorner set.  The top layer is a light purple card stock (Grapesicle) to accentuate the purple in some of the flowers.  I seriously can't tell you how much I love that Corner Adorner set!!!

And you know what the good news is???  The entire release is available in the store NOW!!!

Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop!

Hi all!  Welcome to the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  

For my card, I'm using the NEWLY released - as in TODAY! - set by Lil Inker Designs called Latte Love!  This set is so adorable and comes with matching dies!  I love the different coffee designs that are included!  To create the look here, I inked the 'coffee' with chocolate brown ink then stamped off once before stamping it in the coffee cup.  I used a Copic marker (E31) the to color in the white part so that it looks more like coffee creamer.  Clear as mud, lol?  I embossed one of the sentiments from the set and added some Circle Banners, along with a few buttons and twine.  The color combo came from the current CTD422.  I also used the FMS266 sketch.

SugarPea Designs - Mix It Up Challenge

Hi all!  Hope you're having a great week so far!  Here's my card for this week's SPD Mix It Up Challenge!  It's an easy one because it's 'Anything Goes' - so you're free to use any sketch and/or inspiration picture!  This dragon from the Blow Me Away stamp set has always been a favorite of mine.  I colored him with Copics.  I cut out the patterned paper from the It's a Celebration paper pack using the Birthday Journal Card dies, along with the white layer.  The dots on the small grape jelly card stock strip were done using one of the Celebrate All the Things stamp set.
