The Card Concept Challenge Time!

Hi all!  It's time for a new challenge over on The Card Concept Challenge Blog. I loved this inspiration pic and loved even more that I had this Reverse Confetti Unicorn Wishes stamp set and dies that matched it so perfectly! I colored everything with Copics.

We would love for you to play along with us!

MFT Card Design Supterstar Contest - 3rd card!

Hi all! Here's my final card for the Innovative category of the MFT Card Design Superstar Contest. I got the idea for this one after watching THE Jennifer McGuire's video for tunnel cards. This one was SO fun to make! :) I used the Bitty Bears, Birthday Bears and Up in the Air stamp sets. The black and white patterned paper is from MFT, as well as the cotton candy and black licorice cardstock. All images were colored with Copics. I did add a little shimmer to all of the birthday hats and banners with a clear Wink of Stella pen. I curved the sentiment so it matched the banner die-namic that is in a retired Blueprints set. I also stamped some of the cardstock with the Itsy Bitsy Polka Dots BG stamp using ripe raspberry ink.

MFT Card Design Superstar Contest - 2nd card!

Hi all!  I'm back with another card for the MFT Card Design Superstar contest because, well, you gotta be in it to win it! FINGERS CROSSED! Here's my coloring virtuoso card using the BB Mermazing set. The small island is from the Party Like a Pirate set and the sentiment is from the Beach Buds set (it seemed fitting for this card). :)  I used several MFT inks. You can even see a few stars that I stamped in sweet tooth ink from the retired Totally Happy set. I used a white gel pen to add a bit of glisten to the water and also some dimension to her tail.

MFT Card Design Superstar Contest!

HI all!  Here's my card for the Clean And Simple category of the MFT Card Design Superstar contest. I used the Floral Fantasy background for this sympathy card.  I embossed the stamp with white embossing powder, then colored with my Zig pens, blending with water as I went. I added a twist to the card by cutting the image then adhering to acetate to create my card front. The sentiment is from Brushstroke Expressions. There are some amazing entries in ALL of the categories, so I'm SUPER nervous!
