Flourishes Timeless Tuesday 232!!!

Hi all!  I have the privilege of joining the wonderful Flourishes DT as the host for this week's Timeless Tuesday challenge!  Wahoo - SO exciting!!!  My challenge is to create your own background - yes, nice and easy and you're welcome, ha!  I used their scrumptious Wild for Watermelon set.  The beauty of Flourishes sets is that they come with SO many stamps that all coordinate, so creating your own background is a breeze.  For my card, I chose one of the smaller pieces of watermelon and inked it with a jellybean green ink onto green cardstock for a tone-on-tone look.  I also inked the same image with pink lemonade ink for a little extra touch under the sentiment.  My focal image was colored with copics.  A bit of black seam binding and voila!

Close up...  Don't you love that sentiment?  It makes me *smile*.

SACC - Thank you for all you do

Hi all!  It's Friday {yay!} which means it's time for another SACC!  Our sponsor this week is Digi Stamps 4 Joy and I chose to use their cute little Book Worm.  He's colored with copics.  The sentiment is from the MFT a la modes An Apple for Teacher set.  Can you say "ahead of the game"?  Boo-yah!!! :)  It doesn't happen often, so pardon my excitement!  I edged the sentiment (which was cut out using the Fishtail Flags STAX) with a black marker just to help it stand out a little more.  I got the sketch from a challenge over on SCS - it's Dare to get Dirty week and if you're not a member, I highly encourage all you crafters out there to JOIN because well, you're missing out!!!!

Thanks for stopping by!!!

SACC - Bold Masculine Happy Birthday

Hi all!  How's your summer going?  I've been MIA because we took an awesome family trip to Orlando recently for a baseball tournament/vacation.  GOOD TIMES!!!  Time for another Sister Act Card Challenge!  My card was made with nothing but MFT goodies (I know, you're not surprised!).  I used the Jumbo Mod Borders for a bold look, first stamped in black licorice, then in steel blue, then in steel blue again after stamping off once for a faded look.  The sentiment, from the Birthday Sentiments  set, was cut out with their new Pierced Circle STAX {love} and is up on dimensionals.  The cool splotches are from the Abstract Art set, again using the stamping off technique in steel blue.  A few stars from the Stacking Stars die-namics add just the right amount of embellishment while still keeping the card masculine.  The sketch is the MFTWSC134.

SACC - Happy Birthday 2 you

Hi all!  Time for another anything goes challenge over on the Sister Act Card Challenge Blog!  The sentiment (from MFT) was stamped in sno cone ink.  I framed it with the LLD Insert It - Instaframe die-namic which is up on pop dots.  The sketch is the MFTWSC132.

Close up...  I used some tape to add a bit of sparkle and festiveness to the card.  The glitter is OLD glitter I got in a pack of Christmas colors and I swear, it is at least 10 years old if not more!  Ha!  A blu raspberry button and some twine finish it off.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out what the rest of the SACC dt created for you!

Aloha {MOJO300}

Hi all!  Here's my card for the MOJO300!  I colored up this sweet DG Aloha by MFT then fussy cut her and popped up her on pop dots.  I used the leaf from the Hibiscus die-namics along with the flower center, but the flower is from the Blueprints 3, along with the pierced circle.  I also added some of their glitter glaze to the flower in her hair.

Miss you like crazy

Hi all!  Just wanted to share a card I made with some new MFT goodies!  I used the MPD Graduated Diamonds stencil to emboss the kraft cardstock.  The fun splashes of color (all MFT ink) are from the Abstract Art set - FUN!!!  The sentiment, stamped in MFT Black Licorice ink, is from their most recent Triple Scoop set that must be out of stock because I can't find it on the MFT site.  The main layer is popped up on pop dots and adhered to a blu raspberry card base.  A little bling add the finishing touch.

Thanks for stopping by!  See you soon for the latest SACC!!!
