Lil' Inker Designs New Release Hop - Day 1

Hi all!  So this crazy COOL thing happened not long ago - I was selected to join the Lil' Inker Designs team!  I couldn't be more honored to be a part of this wonderful company!!!  Ok, so you're here to see some projects, so let's get TO IT!  Hopefully you arrived from Karen's Blog - aren't her creations simply Beautiful!?!! For my card today, I used the gorgeous Vintage Flowers stamp set  with the Vintage Flowers die set.  I mean, come on, people!  LOOK at those flowers!! I colored everything with Copics. They are layered over the Vintage Label Dies which was stamped with sentiments from the Vintage Label stamp set.  How perfect with Mother's Day right around the corner!  Now, how about that cover up die?  It's called Tribal Chic and adds such a cool look and texture.  Bam!  Done!  ;-)

Alrighty, next on the hop is THE Amy Kolling - Oh, I've been such a fan of hers for so long!!!  You won't want to miss a THING, so here's a link to the Lil' Inker Designs Blog where all the hop magic starts!  Be sure to comment along the way for a chance to WIN ;-)

Thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow for MORE eye candy!

Beach, please

And by that title, I mean, 'take me TO the beach, please!', lol!  Hi all - Here's a card I made for the March SFYTT by Reverse Confetti using some RC goodies.  :)  I used the Pineapples Aplenty stamp set and matching confetti cuts.  The pineapple is layered over some RC quick card panels (it's out of stock) and was cut out using the Woodgrain Confetti Cuts - one of my faves from RC!  The other DP is from that pretty On Trend 2 paper pack - yummy!  Some glittered YNS gumdrops add a little extra sparkle.

Alright, stop, collaborate and listen!

Hi all!  Lol, how do you like that post title???  This is a collaboration post with THE ;) Marcie Sharp and while typing this up, Vanilla Ice popped into my head, so I went with it, HA!  Marcie and I decided to each make a card using the MFT Birthday Bears stamp set.  I love the idea of "working with" other crafty peeps, especially when we live so far apart.  Please check out Marcie's post HERE.

For my card, I used the Can You Case It Sketch #110.  I colored up one of the little bears using my Copics, then fussy cut him.  Don't you love the new MFT Stitched Circle Scallop Frames?  The designer paper is from the On Trend 2 paper pack from Butterfly Reflections Ink.  It's just SO pretty!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  And big hugs, Marcie!!!  Thanks for asking me to craft along with you!  MWAH!!!

MFTWSC270 - Balloon Bear

Hi all!  Here's my card for the MFTWSC270 sketch.  I masked the balloon from the Birthday Bears set, several times, ha!, and colored them in various colors with Copics.  I used the traditional tag STAX to partially cut out the balloons, then used the out of the box technique to cut out the top part.  I also colored the bear with Copics, adding pointillism for shading, then fussy cut him.  The sentiment is embossed with white EP.  I added a few clear sequins from Butterfly Reflections Ink add a little extra detail.

Bold Thanks

Hi all!  Yes, just what the doctor ordered - crafty time!  :D Well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! I took a much needed day of rest and got this card made for a two challenges:  the FMS226 sketch and current CTD382 color challenge.  The chevron background was inspired by Barbara Anders.  I used the MFT Chevron stencil and some Ranger Picked Raspberries distress ink and an aqua brush to color in the stencil.  The gold flower was cut out using the LJD Scribbles die-namics, leaving some pieces intact.  I cut the layered leaves out of green-eyed monster card stock.  The sentiment is from a retired MFT set and was embossed with white EP.

Hello

Hi all!  Long time, no see.  I've had some health issues the past few weeks but hopefully things are under control and you'll see me more here.  :)

Here's a fun card I made using the MFT You Gnome Me stamp set.  I embossed him then used my Zig pens and aqua brushes to colors him and the mushrooms.
