TS Monday - a color challenge!

Oh my word, where has the day gone?!! Hi and Welcome to Totally Stampalicious Monday! This week is a color challenge ~ purple, green and turquoise! FUN!!! This week, I've used Stella Peeker Another Drink. I decided to do some faux stitching with a white gel pen to break up the bold colors. Stella was colored with copics and cut out using the out of the box method, a favorite technique of mine lately.

MFTWSC63 - Miss you

Hi and happy Wednesday! We are right in the middle of spring break here and as I type this at 10:30am, all three boys are still asleep! Ugh, please tell me I'm not the only one that has to deal with getting everyone back on track after a school vacation?? Not fun! On to the card...

I love this sketch because of it's large focal panel. I see the large panel and know that I want something nice and big to fill up the space and it hits me! The Ring Me die-namics! Well, as you'll see by the rest of the MFT dt, great minds think alike because there were a few of us that used it, ha! I love these yummy vintage-y MME papers and felt they called for pearls, so I added them to the corners and around my sentiment bubble.

TS Monday - Flowers!

Hi all! I'm late with my post thanks to computer issues, but everything seems to be good to go! Our theme for the week is flowers and I couldn't help but use this CUTE turtle with his flower shell! I used the out of the box technique to cut him out after coloring him with copics. The layout is from Deconstructing Jen's blog. I left a sentiment off because I feel it can be used for a few different occasions and will just add it when needed.

Coffee!

Hi all! I wanted to share a card that I made for a tutorial over on the Totally Stampalicious blog. It's my first tutorial, well, really more of a "tip" on how I like to jazz up my card, so be kind, please! ;) I've used the Sweet Stop sketch for this week.

Happy Anniversary paper bag book

Hi all! Here's my entry for the MFT guest designer spot for this month. I made a paper bag anniversary book of my 17th anniversary trip we took to San Antonio. We live just down the road from there but still had so much fun!!!

TS Monday - Spring is in the air!

Hi and happy Monday! This week, Totally Stampalicious is challenging you to put a little Spring in your step, er, your creations! For me, spring is about blue skies, everything turning green and little boys (mine, specifically!) playing outside. Deacon Swing has been sitting on my desk all colored for a couple of months now (a shame, I know!). Turns out he was perfect for this challenge! He's colored with copics. The sketch is from Freshly Made Sketches.
