CELEBRATE!
Hi all! Here's a little card I wanted to share because well, it's perfect for today! ;) These Bubbly Bears from Your Next Stamp are just so sweet! I colored them with copics using a sort of swirly motion to give their fur a curly textured look. "Celebrate" is from an MFT set (forgetting the name at the moment) and was embossed with gold ep on vellum. I cut out some stars out of vellum and dp using the stacking stars die-namics.

MFTWSC154 - Love u
Hi all! Here's my card for the MFTWSC154 sketch, a tad late... ;) This is the newly released Wish You Were Here PI. She's so super cute and fun to color! Another goodie I love from the new release is their Insulation Pink cardstock! Such a soft color and a great neutral, in my opinion. "LOVE" was cut out using the LLD Accent It - Celebrate. I also used the following die-namics: mix & match banners, hearts a plenty, by the letters and the scallop ribbon border. I'm liking this insulation pink, grape jelly and black combo!

Pink and Kraft Joy - CC456 & FLLCDEC13B
Hi all! Here's a card I made for the Flourishes December release challenge, FLLCDEC13B and for today's color challenge on SplitCoastStampers, CC456. I used Flourishes Handmade Snowflakes stamp set for this untraditional Christmas card. I used MFT's bubblegum, kraft and factory green inks. The stripes on the bubblegum cardstock are from the Striped Backgrounds, also stamped in bubblegum. This is my first card using the sequins I bought probably 4 months ago - fun little detail! I cut out the sentiment with one of my Pierced Circle STAX and added a little tag from Blueprints 1. Did you see MFT is coming out with STITCHED Circle STAX tonight?!? Gotta have those! ;)

Thankful for you - MFTWSC153
Hi all! Here's my card for the MFTWSC153. I used my DC Thankful Leaves set for the first time, along with the matching die-namics. I used the woodgrain BG stamp to add to the "woodsy" feel. I inked the leaves in safety orange, olive, chocolate brown, orange fizz and a bit of wild cherry. The veins of the leaves were stamped in chocolate brown, as well. The pretty scallop is from Blueprints 6 and the sentiment strip is from Blueprints 1. I added a fuse green button, some hemp thread and a couple of corrugated leaves from the branch with leave die-namics for the finishing touches. The card base is safety orange and (in case you can't tell) this is a 5x5 card.

Happy plaid birthday
Hi all! Here's a card I made for fun using the FMS117 sketch. I created the plaid pattern using MFT's plaid background builder set. I had hubby in mind for this card which is 1. why it's Clean and Simple and masculine and 2. I used nightshift blue and wild cherry to represent his favorite football team (NY Giants), even though their's is a more royal blue, but that's ok. ;) The sentiment is from the LLD Document It - Bingo set, which I also stamped in nightshift blue. I added some nightshift blue stars using the Stacking Stars die-namics and popped up the smallest one and adding one silver brad. I added a postage stamp border for a little extra detail.

Your Next Stamp Fun Friday and SACC - Season's Greetings
Hi all! Happy Friday! Here's my card for the latest Your Next Stamp Fun Friday challenge and the Sister Act Card Challenge! I went with a fairly clean and simple look using this newly released image, Teddie's Stocking. TOO cute!!! I colored it with copics, adding a dotted background. The sentiment is from MFT. I stamped it on a pierced circle stax after stamping it with one of the washi patterns stamps in safety orange. The faux brads in the lower right corner are from one of the dies in the Blueprints 9.
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to play along with YNS and SACC for chances to win ;)

Wishing you...
Hi all! I wanted to share this card I made using the sketch from this month's Dirty Dozen gallery theme on SCS. This is my first time using MFT's new Sheet Music Background stamp - it's SO pretty and adds the right touch to any project! The ornaments from the Ornament Banner Builder were stamped in sno cone, razzle berry and wild cherry. I used the Pierced Circle STAX and one of the regular Circle STAX to create the 'window'. They were cut out using the Ornament Banner die-namics. I then brushed on some glitter glaze to add some sparkle. The sentiment is from the Clearly Sentimental about Christmas set, which I cut out using one of the elements from Blueprints 1.
Close-up... love that sparkle!

Your Next Stamp Fun Friday and SACC - Merry Christmas!
Hi all! Happy Friday! Here's my card for the current Your Next Stamp Challenge and the Sister Act Card Challenge! I used the YNS Inspiration challenge pic for my card. How SWEET is this newly released YNS digi, Merry Bear! He's totally colored with copics then cut out with my oval STAX. I used swirly strokes when coloring him to give him a curly, fluffy look. The sentiment, from another favorite of mine, MFT's Cheerful Christmas Greetings, was stamped in hot chocolate and cut out with my fishtail flags STAX. A kraft button and some hemp thread add a bit of extra detail. The sketch is my own. ;)

MFTWSC150 - Blue and Grey Happy Holidays
Hi all! Here's a card I made for the MFTWSC150 challenge. I used a few new MFT goodies - DG You're the Coolest, the scallop from Blueprints 9 die-namics, and the woodgrain background stamp! I used my copics again on this DG, fussy cut her then popped her up on pop dots. I used one of the mini doily circles which is behind a pierced circle also stamped with the woodgrain stamp. The sentiment (cut out withe my fishtail flag STAX) is from the Cheerful Christmas Greetings stamp set - I just love the font! I kept the grey horizontal strip plain to give your eyes a rest from all of the busy patterns. A little white and grey twine add the finishing details. The color combo is the CC452 over on SplitCoastStampers.

MFTWSC149 - Friends like you...
Hi all! Here's my card for this week's MFTWSC149 sketch. I colored this cutie PI, Happy Christmas, with copics, then fussy cut her. The snow drift was created using the tree lines die-namics ( a little picture tutorial below... ). I used the peek-a-boo dots die-namics on the sno cone cardstock, which I layered over sweet tooth cardstock that I brushed with glitter glaze (which served as the adhesive for the sno cone cs, as well!). If you look closely, you can see the sparkle from the glaze. The razzle berry dots were stamped using the large scale backgrounds. I added a sweet tooth felt heart, blu raspberry button with some twine for extra detail.
First, I cut the tree lines in sweet tooth...
Second, I cut off the white trees...
Third, I cut some jellybean green trees and adhered them to the back of the sweet tooth cs...
Then I cut some sour apple trees and adhered them slightly off-center of a couple of the jellybean trees for a shadow affect. Voila!

Your Next Stamp Fun Friday Challenge and SACC - Joy to the World
Hi all! Happy Friday! Is the time flying by or is it just me?! Crazy that Thanksgiving is just WEEKS away! GAH! Alrighty, here's my card for this week's YNS Fun Friday challenge and also for the Sister Act Card Challenge. I used the NEWLY release digi, Gretchen with bird on my card - love her! I colored her with copics and also used them to added a dotted background around her, then used an SU marker for her freckles. The plaid pattern on the sno cone strip is from the More Washi Patterns stamp set from MFT. The sketch is the current YNSFF sketch challenge - play along for a chance to win! The sentiment is from MFT. My 'snowflake' is actually a flower die-namic from MFT. I spritzed it with shimmer mist but it's not noticeable in the pics. I added a scalloped die-namic, some twine and a button to finish it up.

Deck the Halls - MFTWSC148
Hi all! I wanted to share this card I made for this week's MFTWSC148. I used the super fun Ornament Banner Builder and matching die-namics! The sentiment is also from this set and I cut it out with one of the elements from the Blueprints 3. The little leaves are from the Christmas Ornaments die-namics and I added a "brad" berry. I used electric red, blu raspberry, and razzle berry inks for a fresh color combo. A little paper piercing and voila! Oh, and this card measures 4 1/4 x 4 1/4.

FTTC244 - Plaid Joy
Hi all! It's Tuesday and time for another Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge. This week it's all about the ever classic plaid or houndstooth patterns:
For my card, I've used the newly released Handmade Snowflakes by Flourishes. Such a classic set, love it! The snowflake is stamped in sno cone, then I stamped one of the sentiments from the set in black licorice over it. I created my plaid using the plaid builder stamp set and the same sno cone and black licorice inks. I like that the pattern is slightly off - that's my story and I'm sticking to it! ha! I used the stamping off technique for parts of the pattern to create a more dimensional look. The little plaid fishtail flag is from the washi patterns set by MFT. A few enamel dots add the finishing touch. I've also made this for the SACC challenge this week. Play along with us at Flourishes and SACC for a chance to win ;)
Thank you for stopping by! See you soon!
