MFTWSC157 - In case you didn't know it...
Hi all! Here's my card for the MFTWSC157 using MFT's Damask Designs and Bold Statements stamp sets. I distressed the two layers of black licorice cardstock. I love this color combo of grapesicle, kraft and black licorice! I also used grapesicle and black licorice inks, along with MFT's sweet tooth pigment ink. The sentiment was cut out using my Fishtail Flags STAX - my MOST used and dearly LOVED die-namics! The scallop under the sentiment is from the Blueprints 9 die-namics. I also used Blueprints 1 for the small kraft layer (with the damask stamps) and the larger rectangle from Blueprints 6 for the grapesicle layer. I pierced around the smallest rectangle layer, added some bling to the A's and a trio of threaded buttons to finish up this fairly clean and simple card.

MFTWSC65 - Ready for Easter?
Hi! Well, if you're not quite ready for Easter, maybe this card will help you?! Ha! For this card I've used the PI One Sweet Chick ~ and that is definitely what she is! Her dress and the eggshell were paper pieced, everything else colored with copics.
Detail shot...

MFT Teaser - Day 3

Our Triple Scoop reward is a full-sized stamp set offered to you absolutely FREE with a qualifying purchase of $60 or greater (before shipping and tax).
The set changes with each monthly release, and is not yet available for individual purchase, so there is always a good reason to spoil yourself with MFT!
On to the card! The set has wonderful sentiments for any pet lover, to include sympathy cards. I decided to use this sentiment because as much as our German Shepard, Chief, drives me crazy with all that hair, I'm glad to have him around and the boys love him! For the "collar", I used the new Pet Charms die-namics. The rounded part was cut out using the Mix & Match Banners die-namics then I punched some holes and hand cut the little prong thingie (have no clue what to call it! HA!) to finish off the "official collar" look. The buckle is actually 3 layers of cardstock - wanted it nice and thick. The bone charm was attached using a ring off an old keychain that was laying around.

SSSC150 - Buckets of Love
***Don't forget to check out my blog candy post HERE !!! I'll be selecting a winner on Sunday***
Hi all! I wanted to share this card which I made for Karen G's Sweet Sunday Sketch. This is my first time inking up the Buckets of Love set from There She Goes. With Valentine's day around the corner, I decided to use the hearts. I had to add the extra strip for my sentiment. I used two dienamics, some brads and my piercer to add the finishing details.

Bright birthday boy
Hello, for the third day in a row! It's funny how much stamping time you can get in when you're stuck at home because you discovered a leak in your garage! Yes, we finally got some MUCH needed rain in these parts and low and behold, we had a leak coming from the ceiling, down the inside of the wall and making a puddle in one corner of the garage. FUN. Not. But thank GOD for warranties - it's all getting fixed!
Anyway, I decided to make a bright birthday boy card using the Sweet Birthday Kids set from Totally Stampalicious! I colored him up over a week ago and found this week's sketch challenge on SCS perfect for him! I don't have enough kid birthday cards on hand, so now at least I have this one in my stash!

*knock, knock* - Is this thing on?!
I've had a nice stash of new goodies patiently waiting for me. This card uses the new Aim High PI by MFT. There are 4 different MFT dienamics on here! The little flourish next to the rolled rose doesn't actually look like that. Once I cut it out, I clipped it here and there to piece it together and make it work for that spot. All of the dp is from the new Authentique 6x6 pad. It's so yummy! They also have a pack that has blues in it and one with pinks - something just drew me to the yellow one. And who doesn't love a kite with a blingy string! Some faux stitching, a few panels up on pop dots and a brad in the center of the rolled rose finish it all up. I'm loving how her hair turned out. While blogging, I noticed a few people saying that they blend too much when using Copics, so I tried not to blend so much and definitely got the look I was hoping for.
Ok, I sure do hope to see y'all around here more often!
