SACC - Happy Birthday Matey

Hi all!  It's Friday (Hallelujah!!!) and time for another Anything Goes Card Challenge on the SACC Blog.  Our sponsor this week is Digital Delights by Louby Loo.  This PI Pirate Boy was dying to be colored, so I obliged.  I used one of the sketches MFT provides with their Blueprints die-namics - this is from Blueprints 1.  Incase you haven't noticed, I {love} a good sketch!  ;)

MFTWSC140 - Happy Birthday

Hi all!  Here's my card using the MFTWSC140 sketch.  I used my copics to color up this super cute Doodle Garden Party Time image.  The sketch called for some cool die-namics in the bottom right corner, so I opted to have the word 'birthday' from the Happy Birthday die-namics go across her legs.  I call that improvising ;)  I also decided to use a mini rolled rose die-namic to dot the 'i'.  I used an enamel dot for the flower center and two more as accents on the upper right corner.

SACC - You're Sweet

Hello all!  It's time for another anything goes challenge on the SACC Blog!  This week our sponsor is Meljen's Designs.  I used their *sweet* Rainbow Lollipop.  I opted to go with a super girly pink and purple theme instead of rainbow.  I colored the lollipop with copics.  The sentiment is from MFT's Chocolate Sentiments which is so totally fitting for this image!  The scallops are from Blueprints 6 and the small tab and 'stitched' strip are from Blueprints 1.  I added an extra tab (from the Jumbo Fishtail Banner STAX), a button and some hemp thread for extra detail.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to play along with us at SACC for a chance to WIN!  ;)

Fall Happy Birthday

Hi all!  Here's a card I made for the MFTWSC138.  This gorgeous sunflower is from the LJD Splendid Sunflower set.  I cut out the flower and leaves with the matching die-namics.  The flower was stamped with lemon drop ink, and the center was stamped with olive and hot fudge inks, then popped up on foam dots.  Now, how about this Plaid Background Builder set?!?  Oh my word - I looove it!  I used the lemon drop, olive and brick red inks on this card.  I used the stamping off technique for the olive on some of it.  I cut it out using part of the Blueprints 6 die-namics, which is also what I used for that scalloped strip of brick red.  I used one of the little tags in the Blueprints 1 die-namics for the little flag strips, which I also stamped with the Plaid Background Builder in brick red and kraft.  The sentiment is from the DG Party Time - love the font!  A couple of brown brads, a little hemp thread and a fuse green button add the finishing details.

SACC - Happy Birthday

Hi all!  Welcome to another round of anything goes on the SACC blog!  The small script dp was cut out using one of the elements in the Blueprints 1 then sponged with some distressing ink.  The flowers and leaves are from the LJD Sweet Roses set and were cut out using the LJD Roses and Leaves die-namics.  I colored them with my SU watercolor pencils and blended with my aquapainter - SO fun to do!!!  The sentiment is from the LJD Pretty Poppies set and was cut out using my Fishtail Flags STAX.   I added tiny black brads to the flower centers and some lace to add to the vintage look.

Sprinkles of Love

Hi all!  Here's a card I made with one of the stamps in the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps set, Springtime Lulu.  She's so sweet!  I colored her with copics and cut her out using one of the die-namics in Blueprints 1.  The flower and flower center are from Blueprints 3, then I added a jellybean green button and some thread.  The sentiment, also from the set, was cut out with my - say it with me now - Fishtail Flags STAX!  Lol!  I had a little fun with some crackle paint, as you can see!  I really must do that more!

I Ruff You

Hi all!  I wanted to share this card I made for a few of the Dare To Get Dirty Challenges on SCS last week (if you're not a fan club member, I highly recommend it!).  I finally inked up this YNS cutie, I Ruff You.  He's colored with copics and I used my dotted technique.  I used the MFT Graduated Diamonds stencil and sponged some Tangy Orange ink to create the pattern on the orange dp.  The main image was cut out with MFT's new Pierced Circle STAX (oh, how I adore these!!!).  And I couldn't resist using the paw print from the Pet Charms die-namics ;) .

Some faux stitching, a button and thread add the finishing details.
