YNS DT Dare - Dreamy Bookmark

Hi all!  It's time for another YNS DT Dare and this time it was to add any type of stitching and YNS gumdrops to your project.  I decided to use Little Darling Rapunzel to make a bookmark for my niece.  Everything is colored with Copics and I added some shimmer with my clear Wink of Stella marker to her crown, bow, dress and all of the hearts.  I used the stitched line die on the bottom and a couple sparkly pink gumdrops near the hearts.  My niece loves all things pink, purple and sparkly!  I broke out my Crop-o-dile and an eyelet, along with some white and silver twine to add the finishing details.

I love you a ton

Hi all!  Here's a very CAS card I made using a whale from the Something's Fishy set along with a sentiment from All Washed Up.  I know I've said it, but I just LOVE howe well the sets from this month's release coordinate!  I colored this big guy with Copics, then fussy cut him.  I chose this dp because I felt like it looked like waves of water.  A couple of matching gumdrops add a little extra detail.

YNS New Release Blog Hop!

Hi all!  First, Happy Mother's Day!!!  Second, Welcome to the YNS New Release Blog Hop for May!      Before we get to business, here's a peek at one of my cards...  ;)

So, I'm sure you saw yesterday's sneak peeks which means you know how AWESOME this release is and I'm so excited for you to see all the gorgeousness in today's Hop!

Now that you know the details, let's get TO IT!  Both of my cards feature the set, Maki A Wish, along with the matching dies.  I love this sentiment, so I thought I'd feature a plate of wasabi and use the sushi rolls as a background.  :)  SO fun!  I colored it with Copics, then cut it with the matching dies.  I used one of the stitching holes dies for the edge of the steel blue card stock.  One of the open scallop dies frames the plate of wasabi.  A few perfectly matched kiwi gumdrops finish it up.

For this card, I used the bowl of soy sauce image and this fun sentiment!  Again, I colored it with Copics and used the matching dies to cut out the image.  I used a few lemon gumdrops for an extra pop of color.  The sketch is the FMS185.

As always, be sure to comment as you hop for your chance to WIN!!!  And of course, we have a sale for you!!!!  :D

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Enjoy the rest of the hop ~ links below!

YNS Sneak Peek - Hey there cutie!

Hi all!  Welcome to the YNS May Sneak Peeks!!!  This release is SO FUN!  For my sneak, I used the most adorable fox in the world from the Woodland Cuties stamp set ~ which also has matching dies!  Yay!  I colored him up with Copics then went to work on the rest of my scene.  The grass and flowers were cut out using the Spring Grass Die.  I sponged the edges of the grass with jellybean green ink.  I filled the flower centers with pink lemonade and sparkly pink gumdrops, and a few with liquid pearls.  For the sky, I sponged summer splash, Blu raspberry and blueberry inks onto a piece of summer splash splash card stock until I was happy with the look.  I used two of the stitched rectangle dies to create a frame then layered everything onto a grout gray card base.  I used foam adhesive to pop up the fox.  I seriously love this little guy!  The sentiment is also from the set - how cute is that font!?

Alright, now head on over to the YNS Blog to see more sneak peeks then get your wallets ready because the New Release Hop is tomorrow!  :D

Best Fishes

Hi all!  Ok, let me just say how much I love this card!  :D  It sort of had a mind of it's own but I love how it turned out.  I used lots of TAWS newly released sets - the fish and green seaweed are from the FREE when you spend $40 set, Gill-Friend.  The starfish is from Something's Fishy, the coral is from Little Fellas and the sentiment is from All Washed Up.  They all coordinate so well - love!!!  I sponged the circles with summer splash, Blu Raspberry and blueberry inks.  The fish, starfish and seaweed was colored with Copics.  A few blue raspberry gumdrops help add to the underwater 'bubble' look.  And I had to add some clear Wink of Stella glitter to the fish ;)

Keep Your Fin Up

Hi all!  Here's a card I made using the newly released TAWS set Something's Fishy.  I love these new sets!  They're all so perfect for watercoloring and lots of other cool techniques!  I was experimenting with watercoloring and loved these colors for my shark, so I stamped him on top then fussy cut him. I added two blue sapphire glittered gumdrops for bubbles ;)  The sketch is from the SSSC267.

YNS Fun Friday - Happy Father's Day

Hi all!  YAY for Friday!  Time for a new sketch and inspiration challenge on the YNS Blog!  I love this sketch!  I decided to flip it because it worked better for this image from For the Boys stamp set and the sentiment.  I colored the remote with Copics and decided to stick with the gray and yellow from the image to keep it masculine.  I love the extra little detail the notebook edge die gives to the dp layer.  And of course, I had to use the stitched rectangle dies again! A few sparkly silver gumdrops and done!

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to check out the rest of the DT's take on the challenges over on the YNS BLOG and play along for your chance to WIN!!!

Have an awesome weekend!
