Thanks, you're the best

Hi all!  I don't believe I've posted this card yet, but I wanted to share the card that won me the Paper Crafts and Scrapbooking Stamping Royalty 2014 in the Thank You category!  This card measures 4x4.  The card base is Sno Cone and has steel grey for laying, as well as grout gray for the top layer.  I used one of the images from Damask Designs inked with grout gray (for a tone on tone look) to add a little something to the focal point of the card.  The flowers and steel grey stitched circle are from the Blueprints 12.  The 'Thanks' part of the sentiment was stamped in grout gray and is from a retired MPD set.  The 'you're the best' part of the sentiment was stamped in steel grey.  I added extra interest to the flowers by stamping them with the houndstooth stamp from the large scale backgrounds set and stamped the leaves with woodgrain background stamp in sour apple.  And of course I had to add steel grey buttons with some white twine for the flower centers ;)

Your Next Stamp - New Digital Release Blog Hop!

Hello and welcome to our September Your Next Stamp Digi Blog Hop!

The Digi Team has worked hard to complete some awesome projects for this hop! We have EIGHT new digi stamps in the store and an announcement to make today...

After much consideration, we have decided that Your Next Stamp will go back to it's rubber roots and we will be discontinuing the Digital Stamp line from the store in October 2014. We all know how much you have come to love the cute characters from the Omnia line and we are happy to still offer the whimsical images in clear stamp form. You will still be able to purchase all Digital Stamps until October 2014 and with the sale offered below, you will want to stock up now!

The new release hop begins on Anita's blog and if you've been hopping along, you should have come from Sheila's blog. Make sure you hop around to all of the blogs featured in the link list located at the bottom of this post for lots of inspiration using the new products!  If you leave a comment on all of the blogs, you will be entered to win a a digi stamp of your choice - there will be four winners and four prizes given away in total. The lucky winners will be announced on the Your Next Stamp Blog September 10th.

For my project, I used the new Digi called Yummy Bunny!  Oh, isn't he SO stinkin' aDORable?!!!  I colored him with Copics then cut him out with my oval STAX.  He's so happy and festive, I just had to add a banner to the front!  The sketch is from the SSSC234.

I had a few pieces leftover from cutting out banners, so I thought I'd add one to the inside of the card, too!

Now is the time to stock up on all the digi stamps - Buy three and get one free with the code below!

Thank you so much for stopping by today and hopping along with us!
Now it's time to head on over to Brianna's blog, but before you go, don't forget to leave a comment!

Chevron Happy birthday

Hi all!  Here's a card I made for a few challenges:  CTD308,  TCEC9 and the Paper Players Challenge 13.  I used my chevron die to cut out the colors I wanted, then adhered them to thin copy paper.  I then cut out the 'happy' of the adhered chevron strips and voila!  I stamped some of the images from my Abstract Art set in grout gray to create a focal point.  I stamped 'birthday' in steel grey ink.  I used one of my square STAX to emboss the card base.  This card measures 4x4.

Your Next Stamp - Fun Friday!

Hi all!  Ok, so here we are in September (geez, when did THAT happen?!), so new month means a new sketch and inspiration photo!  I used the inspiration photo for my card, which features the Looking Chic digital stamp.  Yes!  My first Christmas card of the season!  Lol!  And obviously I'm not ready to embrace the fact that Christmas is SO close that I used nontraditional colors ;) I colored her with Copics and cut her out using one of my blueprints.  I stenciled on some diagonal stripes and added a cute sentiment.  A little twine and a couple of brads (bottom right corner, they match that chocolate card stock perfectly) add the finishing details.  The sketch is the current SFYTT.

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to play along for YOUR chance to WIN!

Sending Happy Thoughts

Hi all!  Here's my card using the MFTWSC191 sketch and the Color Throwdown #307 color challenge.  The sentiment is from an older MFT set.  I used several elements from a few Blueprints for all my layers (1, 3 and 13 to be exact!).  The feathers are from the LLD Accent It - Feathers and Arrows die-namics (love these!  Thanks, Karen!!!)  A few YNS ivory gumdrops finish up the details. (um, they're ON SALE, so go like, grab them ALL!)

Retro Happy Birthday

Hi all!  Here's a card I made for the Reverse Confetti August Color Challenge.  I used the dotted lemon image from the Fresh n' Fruity set to create this cool retro background (at least retro to me!).  I alternated between the fully inked image then overlapped it with one stamped off once.  I added a couple of the Diagonal Stripe Pretty Panels dies, one in nightshift navy.  The sentiment is from their Lots to Say set and was embossed with gold EP.  A few gold enamel dots finish it up.
