Hi all and Merry {late} Christmas!!!! I hope it was a great one with lots of yummy food and quality family time! We definitely enjoyed ours and the monsters seemed quite happy with all of their new things. On to the card!First of all, I got a new camera and I mention this because I wanted to upload this card to Splitcoast and I can't crop it small enough to do so! Bummer! So I guess I need to check some settings (or if anyone has a clue what to do, please share!) and try again. I made this for the sketch challenge this week AND for the ColourQ challenge. I love their challenges and have stalked them for a while, but this will be my first time participating. We needed a card for one of my hubby's coworkers and since it's been sooo long since I stamped, I needed a LOT of guidance on where to get started. *note: I have never claimed to be much of a seamstress, especially when it comes to straight lines, so anything that does turn out straight, was purely an act of God! *a note on that note: Now I know why they're called a "seamstress" because "sewer" looks like that place where the alligators live (ha, name that movie!). Moving on... I ran the olive layer through my 'bug using the houndstooth folder and the basic gray layer is already textured. The tree layer is up on dimensionals. I colored the tree with SU markers. The sentiment is from an Elzybells (*sniff*) set. Added a little sewing and done!
Well, for those of you that check in once in a while, I truly appreciate it! I promise to make myself stamp more and therefore, POST more to my poor little blog!
