SACC - Hello, Friend

Hi all!  Happy Friday!  Time for another anything goes challenge on the SACC blog!  This week we have two sponsors!  I've chose to use an image from Wings and Willows.  This super cute duckie was colored with copics and cut out with MFT's designer labels 2 STAX.  The sentiment is from their Finishing Flourishes set, which I cut out using the Fishtail Flags STAX.  I used the pinking edge die-namic on the raindrop dp which I couldn't resist using with this image.  ;)

A button and some hemp thread finish it up.  Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to play along with us!

SACC - Hello, Darling

Hi all!  It's Friday and time for another anything goes challenge over on the SACC blog!  This week's sponsor is Rick St. dennis, who has some really cool images available on Etsy!!  I chose Rikki because I thought she would be FUN to color and boy, was I right!!!  She looks like she's saying "Hello, Darling", hence the title of this post.  ;)  She's colored with copics, then I cut her out along the image outline and popped her up on pop dots.  I thought she would pair well with this Victorian "wall-paper" looking dp, which I cut out with one of the Blueprints 1 die-namics.  The black strip on the bottom was cut out using one of the Blueprints 3 die-namics.  Black seam binding, a red MFT button with black hemp thread add the final touches.

Hello

Hi all!  Here's a quick little card I made with some new MFT goodies!  One of them is their Happy Hellos die-namics ~ oh, how I love these!!!!  Behind the grey button is a die-namics from the Blueprints 1 die-namics.  I love the retro feel of this card!  I rounded the corners of the striped dp and added a few yellow enamel buttons from MME.  I wanted the "hello" to be popped up, so I adhered it to the button - such cool dimension, right?!  I added a couple of scored lines for balance.

SACC - For the birthday boy

Hi all!  Welcome to another round of the Sister Act Card Challenge blog challenge!  This week, our sponsor is Digital Delights by LoubyLoo and they're giving away a $5 gift voucher to one lucky participant!  For my card, I've chosen to use MFT's Birthday Sentiments to make a masculine birthday card.  The card base is MFT's natural cardstock - it's such a nice weight and so sturdy, I LOVE it!  I stamped the sentiment in a white craft ink and added some sponging here and there for a more realistic chalkboard affect.  I used the smallest of the Jumbo Fishtail Banner STAX and one of the Mini Pennants die-namics to add extra interest.  A star embossing folder and some twine finish it up.

Thanks so much for stopping by and be sure to play along for a chance to WIN!!!!

SACC - Thinking of you

Hi all!  Time for another anything goes challenge over at the Sister Act Card Challenge blog!  Our sponsor this week is The Doodle Pantry but sadly, time and life didn't allow me to use one of their adorable images.  But I do have this sweet card to share using MFT's LJD Pretty Poppies.  I also used their LJD Poppies and Leaves die-namics to cut out of the poppies out and popped it up on pop dots.  I layered the main image over another white piece of cardstock for a softer look.  The leaves, stems and cool script were stamped using their Kraft ink (the script was stamped off once first).  The poppies are stamped in their Lemon Drop ink.  And yes, the sentiment was stamped in their Black Licorice ink which IS the best ink for crisp images!  LOVE it!  The postage stamp border, black hemp twine and a black button and pearl add the final touches.  The cardbase is MFT Kraft.  This was also made for Flourishes FTTC219 challenge.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to play along with SACC!!!  ;)

Hi Honey

Hi all!  Here's my *late* card for the MFTWSC122.  I used their Doodle Garden Sweet as Can Bee set.  How could I resist?!  She's colored with copics with stickles on her wings.  I stamped her twice, then cut out her face and layered it under her hair for more realistic dimension.  She is popped up on a dp layer I cut out with my Circle STAX.  The yellow dp and sentiment circle were cut out using different die-namics from their Blueprints 1.  I SO love their Blueprints die-namics!  So many cool shapes all in one set AND sketch ideas - *swoon* as many would say!  The sentiment, from the set, was stamped in their Black Licorice ink.  An itty bitty bow and a couple of their kraft buttons add the finishing touches.

Thank you berry much

Hi all!  I wanted to share this card I made recently using Flourishes' Berry Sweet set.  I used a few of the die-namics in MFT's Blueprints 1 set.  The berries were colored with copics and I added a row of bling to the sentiment tab.

SACC - Life is Sweet

Hi all!  It's Friday which means it's time for another Sister Act Card Challenge challenge!  This week, we have another fabulous sponsor, The Paper Nest.  I couldn't resist using this Sweet Friend image.  I colored it with copics and cut it out with my Circle STAX.  The sentiment is from MFT's PI Sweet Greetings set - perfect for this image, right?!  I used some Echo Park dp and cut out banners using the Fishtail Flags STAX and the sentiment was cut out using the Accent it - Flags and Tags die-namics.  So, does the ice cream look like mint chocolate chip??  Well, it should!  Ha!  I used Jen's 100th Deconstructed sketch.  A little paper piercing and a brad finish it up.

Thanks for stopping by and we hope you play along with us!

Have a Lovely day

Hi all!  I hope you are ALL having a lovely day!  I wanted to share this CAS one layer card I made using MFT's set, Sweet Roses.  It is just gorgeous!  The leaves were stamped in their Factory Green ink.  Then I used their Orange Fizz, Blu Raspberry, Razzle Berry, and Lemon Drop inks to stamp the roses onto their natural cardstock.  I think took copics that were lighter versions of those colors and just went around the inside edges of the images for a little more depth.  I used my scor-pal to emboss the three lines to the left of the flowers, then went over the embossed lines with copics, as well.  The sentiment, also from this set, was stamped in their Hot Fudge ink.  A little bit o' bling adds the final details.  ;)
