YNS New Release Blog Hop!

Hi all!  Welcome to the YNS New Release Blog Hop!  We have so many wonderful new sets to show you!  I've made two card using the new Word Critters - Exotic Animals set.  It is just TOO cute for words!  I love the animals including in it and all of the sweet sentiments! For my first card, I used the toucan and one of the hummingbirds.  I fussy cut them and popped them up on foam adhesive.  I drew lines in between the letters of 'baby' so that it looked more like a  real banner there were holding up.  I used my stitched rectangle dies for the layering and some sparkly pink gumdrops for extra detail.  The sketch is from the CTS130.

For my second card, I used the two chameleons in the set.  Aren't they adorable?!  I colored them with Copics, then fussy cut them and popped them up.  Before stamped the "hello", I curved the stamp on my acrylic block.  Again, I drew lines in between the letters.  Two of the gumdrops I added are from a new collection pack called Love Earth gumdrops.  What an awesome color combo! (it's the blue and yellow, plus a gray)  And of course, I used my stitched rectangle dies again.  :D

YNS Sneak Peek time!

Hi all!  Happy 4th of July!!!  Can you believe it's already July?  This summer is flying by!  The good news is it's time for the YNS Sneak Peeks!!!  For my sneak, I'm using the new set called Happy Dance.  There are two images a several sentiments in this set.  I embossed this guy on watercolor paper then colored him with my Zig pens.  He was cut out using the matching dies from the set and I used the circle from the peek a boo doors die set to ground him.  I used neon sunrise, kiwi and olive gumdrops for extra embellishments.  I used a few different MFT inks to create the ombre background on the polka dot cover-up die-namic.

Let's Fiesta

Hi all!  Here's a CAS card I made using the newly released TAWS set called Cha Cha Cha.  This set has so many cute images!  And I totally think this sentiment covers several occasions including birthdays or congratulations. Love that! I colored the maracas using my Copics then fussy cut them.  The SSSC275 seemed like the perfect sketch for them.  I added a few gold sequins for a little extra pop.

TAWS New Release Blog Hop!

Hi all!  Welcome to the TAWS New Release Blog Hop!  My card today features the new set called Old School.  I love this set!!!  Maybe because I grew up in the 80s when these games were popular ;) I tried to recreate the game and used YNS gumdrops as the 'power' buttons (or whatever they were called).

Hi all!  Here's a card I made for fun using the latest MFT sketch - MFTWSC234.  This is my first time inking up the new Happy Pandas stamp set I got from Butterfly Reflections Ink.  I inked up the bamboo with kraft and sour apple inks, then masked them off and stamped two of the pandas from the set.  The third cutie hanging off the sentiment strip was fussy cut and popped up on foam adhesive.  I used a couple of the elements in the Blueprints 20 and Blueprints 3 to cut out some of the layers.  The YNS stitched rectangle dies were used for the panda layer.

The Alley Way Stamps - Sneak Peek Day 1!!!

Hi all!  Welcome to the TAWS Sneak Peek Day 1!!!  Today we are featuring the new set called Cha Cha Cha.  There are SO many fun images and sentiments in this set!  I used the cactus images and created a sunset scene.  I colored the cacti with Copics and used my Zig pens and an aqua painter on some watercolor paper for the background.  I used black card stock for the layering to make the bright colors pop.

YNS Fun Friday - Have a cool birthday!

Hi all! Happy Friday!  Here's my card for this week's YNS Fun Friday sketch and color challenges.  I actually used both challenges for my card! I used an image from the Waddles - Happy Brrr-thday stamp set and matching dies. I colored him with Copics and popped him up on foam adhesives.  I used the stitched rectangle dies for a couple of the layers. A few olive green gumdrops add a little extra detail
