MFT Card Design Superstar Contest - 2nd card!

Hi all!  I'm back with another card for the MFT Card Design Superstar contest because, well, you gotta be in it to win it! FINGERS CROSSED! Here's my coloring virtuoso card using the BB Mermazing set. The small island is from the Party Like a Pirate set and the sentiment is from the Beach Buds set (it seemed fitting for this card). :)  I used several MFT inks. You can even see a few stars that I stamped in sweet tooth ink from the retired Totally Happy set. I used a white gel pen to add a bit of glisten to the water and also some dimension to her tail.

Beary Big Congratulations

Hi all!  MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!  I truly hope everyone has a wonderful holiday surrounded by love.  :)   I found some crafty time the other day and made this for the current MFTWSC364 sketch.  I colored up some of the images from the MFT Town Bear set using my Copics.  I also used the Our Town die-namics to cut out some chevron patterned paper for the strip behind the main images and sentiment.

The Card Concept Challenge Time!

Hi all!  I'm so happy it's Wednesday already!  This week has felt looong!  We have a new challenge for you on The Card Concept Challenge Blog!  I've used the MFT Bitty Bears on my tag/card.  I believe the scalloped border is retired, as is the Woodgrain background stamp.  The tag was cut using an element from Blueprints 13.

Happy Birthday!

Hi all!  Yes, back to back posts!  That's what ya gotta do when there's a contest deadline!  Here's my card for the Coloring Virtuoso Category in the MFT contest!  I'm worried I should've put it in the Clean & Simple Genius category but it is what it is ;)  I love the color combo!  The leaves from Funky Flowers are embossed on the Cement Gray card stock.  The flowers were colored with Copics.    The sentiment is from the Up in the Air set.

Hello

Hi all!  I hope you all had a great 4th of July yesterday!  I'm back with another Honey Bee Stamps card today!  The Country Blooms set is just Gorgeous!  I colored them with Copics then used the matching dies to cut them out.  I layered them around two of the Hello Honey Cuts - one in black card stock, the other in vellum.  I love adding background dies in the same card stock as my card base - just a little extra texture and interest without taking away from the main images.  Here, I used the middle Hexagon Cover Plate.

Sweet Stamp Shop - New Release!

Hi all!  I'm so excited to be a guest designer for the Sweet Stamp Shop!  I absolutely love the stamps they are releasing this month!  I previously served in the Air Force (nope, not a pilot) and my husband retired from the Air Force after 23 years of service last year.  To say we love our military is an understatement!  I colored the image for this card with Copics, adding 'shine' to his glasses with a white gel pen.  The stars on the background are from the same set, as are the sentiments.

Be sure to check out the Sweet Stamp Shop Blog for other peeks!

Thinking of ewe

Hi all!  Here's a card I made for the Reverse Confetti's latest SFYTT47.  I couldn't resist this little lamb from the All About Ewe set, along with the matching dies.  I colored the lamb, fence and flowers/grass with Copics, using my colorless blender to create her spotted wool.  ;)   The patterned paper is from the Posh paper pad by Simple Stories.  The sentiment was embossed with white EP.

Fun in the sun

Hi all!  Here with a card I made for the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps challenge, which is no dies allowed.  The boy, crab and sentiment are from one of my favorite sets from There She Goes (retired stamp company).  I colored them with Copics then fussy cut them.  The background was created using Ranger Distress Inks.  Yes, I freehanded it!  :D  I add the images using foam adhesive.
