TS Monday - Anything goes!

Hi and Happy Monday (let's pretend, ok?!)! This week's challenge on the Totally Stampalicious Blog is Anything Goes! I decided to ink up Deacon Elf. He could NOT be cuter!!!! I originally meant to use some newer dp but I had a pack of some Basic Grey oldies but goodies sitting around and I realized they matched him better. Probably better than this photo shows. ;) He's up on pop dots and was colored with copics. I used a gold spica pen to color in parts of the gifts. Lots of layering and a little bling in the border dienamic finish it up.

Yay for another Christmas card done! Thanks for stopping by and do NOT forget to take a peek at what the rest of the dt has for you - some yummy eye candy, fo' sho'!!!! Just click HERE...

Have a great week!

Trio of Christmas cards

Hi all! I wanted to share this little set of 4x4 Christmas cards I made using new stamps from the latest Totally Stampalicious! release. Can you say ADORABLE?! I used the same layout for all of them, used different border dienamics and highlighted the with some bling. All images were colored with copics. I also added some pearl Smooch to the white parts of all the hats for extra shimmer.

And close ups of each:

Craft room wall art and AWESOME NEWS!

Hi all! TGIF, right?! Not that I won't have a busy weekend - one of my younguns' has a baseball tournament. Good times...
I wanted to share the project I made for the most recent MFT guest designer challenge! I'm SO proud of it especially because I WON!!!!!!! Yeah, baby! The challenge was to Bling It On. I started this piece on Friday and didn't finish until Monday. I just kept having to walk away and think about it... it needed to be just right. Not gawdy or tacky. I wanted it to be classy enough that any crafter out there would be happy to have it hanging in their craft space. The sentiment is from their You Move Me set {adore it!}. I broke it up and cut it out using the dienamic that comes with the set. The flowers were made using their new loopy bloom die {fun!} in colors that matched the dp. I added bling to several of the petals and also sprayed them with gold glimmer mist. The leafy flourishes were cut out of matching dp and I added some bling to parts of them, as well. I used the open bracket border and the postage border dienamics under the flower dp (which is up on dimensionals) and added LOTS 'O BLING to them. More bling here and there and some glitttery velvet ribbon finish it off.

Detail shot:

And another:

And yes, if you saw this on Splitcoast, these pics are different. I just broke out my OLD (I'm talking over 6 yrs old!) point and shoot camera instead of using my dslr. These pics came out clearer, I think, which is better for posting here and on SCS.

Thanks for taking a peek. I have one more card to finish up for a set I made for the latest TS Monday challenge, which I am obviously super late for! So stay tuned...

TS Monday - Happy Halloween and a SPECIAL!

Hi all! Our challenge this week is Halloween! So before you head out with the kiddos to get some candy, ink up those Halloween stamps one more time. You can make a card for your Halloween party hostess or get ahead for next year! Halloween cards can be so fun especially when you have a fun gal like Witch Brawd from Totally Stampalicious! I just love this sentiment that goes with her! And let me make something very clear... I am not a seamstress. Not even when it comes to cards! Goodness, do you see that wonky stitching?! I meant to do that {that's my story and I'm sticking to it!}!!!

She's colored with copics and is up on pop dots. Her hat and that greenish dp (from Authentique, I believe, or is it Echo Park?) match very well IRL. I anchored the green and orange with a bit of black and kraft. The sentiment is up on pop dots, as well, and I added two big brads to one side.
And speaking of treats...

Hello and welcome to DAY 1 of Totally Stampalicious! sneak peeks!!! Just WAIT till you see what we have in store for you! I sure hope you're ready for some MEGA CUTENESS! For my peek today, I'm using Winter bird and Snowman. Aren't they so SWEET?! I decided to make my bird a cardinal. They're colored with copics and are up on dimensionals. The sentiment is also from this set. I love that Totally Stampalicious! has such great sentiments with all of their sets!

I used a button with twine and hemp and some silver pearls in the corners to top it all off. Now, be SURE to go to the Totally Stampalicious! Blog to see the yumminess the rest of the girls have created for you!!!

Gratitude

Hi! How's this week treating you? I'm really enjoying the fall-ish weather, though today it's a little too windy for me, but at least it's not 100 degrees out!

Here's a card I made for MFT's weekly sketch challenge. The sentiment is from their latest triple scoop set. I used several of their dienamics. Not sure if you can tell, but the green postage frame is up on dimensionals. It really adds so much! I distressed the floral layer and did some faux stitching on there, as well. The inside was finished with more dp and a leftover strip of one of the dienamics.

Thanks for stopping by!
