Last weeks' CC!!

Sorry I didn't get this posted last week! You know how it goes ~ summer vacation, kids buggin' "what are we gonna do today???", blah, blah. Anyways, here it is. Actually this is combined with last week's sketch challenge, also. Trying to use up some dp. That berry image is from the Always set. I inked it up and stamped on the main panel twice, then would ink it up again and do the same. Oh, and this is a square 5x5 card.
What are you going to be doing at 1am tonight?? Me? I'll be (im)patiently waiting to see if SU posts their sneak peek catalog on line!! Rumor says it won't be up til 7am MT, but then others say it's midnight MT. Well, I'll be one of those crazy people staying up to see if it gets posted tonight! I'm so anxious for fresh, new rubbah, it ain't funny!!!! hehe!

Double tag!!

I've been tagged twice! First by Silvia, http://mabiestampin.blogspot.com/ (thanks for the really kind words!!) and also by, Deb (Beadn&Stampn). So here it goes:

1. I occasionally (like once every couple of months) drink Hershey's chocolate syrup out of the bottle. (I've done it for years, and yes, I have a very bad sweet tooth!)
2. I taught myself how to drive a stick shift after I bought my first car, an orange VW Golf, in a village near the base I was stationed in Sembach AB, GE.
3. Along the lines of #1, when I was about 7 or 8, I used to pour sugar out of my mom's Tupperware sugar container, right into my hands and eat it ~ until I got busted one day. (told you I had a bad sweet tooth!)
4. I love playing Texas Hold 'Em.
5. I would much rather do yard work, than housework.
6. I'm a horrible swimmer. Don't know why, but the water scares me.
7. I was the first baby born in my city on New Years Day ~ got my pic in the paper and received all kinds of prizes from local stores and such. Pretty cool, not that I remember!!

Another SC card with some Verve!

Julee has a challenge on her Verve Visual Blog that I thought I'd try out! This is such a FUN set to play with!! I used Petals and Stems and the sentiment is from the Thoughtful Florals set. The saffron flowers were cut out and put on dimensionals, as was the butterfly. The "grass" was cut freehand.

Color and sketch combined combo

Thanks to Rox posting the SC early last night, I was able to get it done around midnight while everyone slept! I had wanted to do the CC all day, so I combined the two.
Pretty simple, but I'm happy with it. I stamped the Stitched BG with black on kraft cs and then with Soft Sky on white. Punched out the sentiment and added a rhinestone brad, pierced around the entire and added taffeta ribbon! Easy peasy!!!
Off to stamp more ~ if I don't leave the computer now, I'll never get more stampin' done!! Thanks for stoppin' by!

I stamped!!

Ok, when I said come back later, I wasn't thinking after midnight!! But, such is life! This will be a quickie post since it's so late and I really need some good sleep.

Here's a card I did for a group of us that likes to make cards for people that need a lift. This is for Sandy who lost almost everything in a fire. I couldn't even imagine.

I kept it simple since I hadn't stamped in so long. I used a sketch from Holly's blog (because Billie said we had to and I'm glad she did cuz I love it!). Enjoy and I hope to stamp more tomorrow! G'nite!
