YNS Fun Friday - An Inspired Hello

Hi all!  Yippee for Friday!  Time for another Your Next Stamp Fun Friday Challenge!  I used this month's inspiration pic for my card.  This Digi is called A Stamp of Friendship.  I love the elegant look of this image!  I colored it with Copics then cut it out using one of my die-namics.  I used a few other die-namics, a little distressing and some ribbon to add some fun details.  The sketch is the current DS151.

Your Next Stamp - May Release Blog Hop!

I used the new digi, Beautiful Bouquet.  Isn't she just SO sweet with the big bouquet and sun hat??  Love her!  I colored her with Copics then cut her out using my pierced circle STAX.  I helped make her the focus of the card by placing her in the center of the sun ray die-namics.  The "Hello" is from one of my MFT Blueprints, then I stamped "Sunshine" in lemon drop ink.  The sun ray die-namics are up on dimensionals for even more interest.

Here's a close up...  I added a few enamel dots for the finishing touch.

This happy little digi is called Surprise and I totally love it!  I have three boys, so this image really calls out to me.  I colored it with copics, adding a dotted background again because they are SO fun (you really should try it!)!!  

Here's a look at the full card.  I used Karen Giron's SSSC213 sketch.  The banner was a must, which I created with die-namics and white twine.  The larger panel and digi are both up on foam adhesives.  I used several die-namics (circle STAX, mini pennants, and Blueprints 13 to name a few) and finished it up with two big silver brads.

Your Next Stamp Fun Friday Challenge and SACC - Sent with Love

Hi all!  Here's my card for the YNS Fun Friday challenge (I used the inspiration photo) and the Sister Act Card Challenge.  I created a quilted look for the background based on the recent Curtain Call Cozy Quilt challenge (which I just missed).  This sweet girl is a YNS digi called Tobi Watering Roses.  I colored her with copics then cut her out using my circle STAX.  The cool background was made using the Fishnet Cover-up.  I left most of the jellybean green card stock in place, then popped out some of the pieces and replaced them with various pieces of designer paper for the 'quilted' look.  The easiest way I found to do this was by gluing the jellybean card stock and pieces I wanted to stay in place to a thin piece of copy paper.  Then I adhered the designer paper one by one until I filled up all the spots I had left open.  I used a mini rolled rose and a bit of leafy flourish to mimic the roses in the image.  The sentiment is from an MFT set.  A little bling adds the finishing details.

Your Next Stamp Digital Stamp Launch Blog Hop!

Onto my project:

I used the darling Snowman Family for my card.  I colored them with copics and cut them out with my MFT die-namics.  I colored the image without deciding which dp I would use, so I was tickled when I realized that this new paper from Basic Grey!  The sketch is the SSSC194.  The sentiment is from the MFT set, Christmas Ornaments.  A pretty button, some white twine and a couple of brads add the finishing details to this sweet image.
