TAWS New Release Blog Hop!

Hi all!  Welcome to the TAWS New Release Blog Hop!  Today I'm featuring the Wigwam set!  How CUTE is this teepee?!  And you get to add extra little elements to it, for example, on mine I added the little man and woman figures.  FUN!  So, remember back in the day when it was THE THING to dampen your card stock and crumple it up?  Yep, a little blast from the past here.  I stamped on my kraft card stock, then dampened it, crumpled it, then laid it out and blasted it with my heat gun.  Some of the images washed away a little too much, so I simply re-stamped them.  I then sponged on some kraft and chocolate ink to really give it a weathered look.  I adhered it off center, added a couple of brads and some thread.  Love the fun sentiment that comes with it ;)

Here is the super adorable Mini Set, Buff, which is FREE when you spend $40.00
or more during the month of March 2015.

So, are you ready to hop???!!!

Don't forget to head over to the TAWS BLOG to enter for your chance to win ALL THREE NEW SETS!!!

Thanks Bunches - MFT guest designer challenge!

Hi all!  Everyone as happy as I am that it's almost FRIDAY??!!  It's been a little while but I decided to give the MFT guest designer challenge a try!  I'm hooked, what can I say?!  (to MFT and a good challenge!)  Here's a peek at my card...

And here it is!  I decided to use this sweet Mouse in the House Blessed Mouse.  She was totally colored with copics and I added some "texture" to her fur by using my colorless blender.  Then I fussy cut her and created a scene using the woodgrain fence, branch with leaves, leafy flourish and the smallest of the mini royal roses die-namics.  The mini roses have stickles on some of the petals and red bling as the center.  I distressed the other two layers of designer paper for more interest.  The sentiment was stamped on the file tab die-namics.  And I, of course, had to find a way to add at least one of the fishtail flags STAX!

Tiny bling on the upper left corner and medium-sized bling on the lower right corner add an extra touch.  Here's a detail shot of the walnut brown vintage seam binding and a super cute button with some thread.
