TS Monday - Anything but a card!

***Scroll down to see my MFT Teaser day 6 post***

Hello again and Happy Monday!!! This week on the Totally Stampalicious blog, we are challenging you to create anything BUT a card! Perfect time to make a cute little something for Easter, right?! I decided to go the birthday route and use one of the super cute penguins from the Party Penguins newly released set. I just adore them! I have to admit, I can NOT throw away a good container! Anything that looks like it has any hope of being repurposed, I keep! This was an almond container that I've had for, oh, I'm not sure how long! I simply added some designer paper, colorful ribbons and a sentiment on top and DONE!

Here's a pic of the top which was cut out using nesties. The sentiment is from the Sweet Birthday kids Bugaboo set.

Thanks for stopping by!!! Have a great week!

To say I had a blast making this card is an understatement! Here is PI Policewoman! I used the Circle Stax to make the traffic light. Once again, I used the Fishtail Flags Stax for the sentiment.

For the inside I added another sentiment from the set which I realized went with the You Move Me stamp set and die-namics. I just love how MFT sets and die-namics work so well with each other!!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Today I'm featuring the Martinis on Me a la mode. How adorable is she sitting in the big ol' martini glass??? I could use one that size right about now but that's another story! She was colored with copics. Not sure why, but I felt that she needed to be a blonde. Ha! I added stickles to the rims of both glasses. Some pretty ribbon, a button and some bling complete the front.

For the inside I added some glass die-namics from the Let's Toast die-namics and more chevron stripes.

Did you notice the round corner accents on the front?? The sketch is the SSS152 and it called for circles layers in the corners. I wanted to do something fun with the chevron stripes so I cut out several in coordinating colors.

Once I laid them out, I adhered them to a circle I cut out using the Circle Stax, then just cut off the excess. Once all the excess was cut off, I matted it onto a larger Circle Stax die.

Thanks for stopping by!!!

Today, we are featuring the Let's Toast Die-namics and stamp set. OH MY!!! What a set it is!! How often have you bought a bottle of your favorite adult beverage as a gift for a friend or hostess? Now it will be a breeze to add your own decorative touch to such gifts and look like a crafty genius! Here's a wine tag and 3x3 card set I made.

The tiny "You" banner was made using the smallest die from the Jumbo Banner Day Stax and alpha stamps from the Let's Toast stamp set. I also added some of the Chevron Stripes die-namics and the Mini Doily Circles die-namics. Don't you love that wine glass die?!?!

On the card, I've used more of the same dies. The sentiment and star are also from the same set. Don't you love that font?!?!

Here's a pic of them together. Pic isn't the best but I wanted you to see them together.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

MFT Teasers - Day 3!

Hi and TGIF!!! Welcome back for day 3 of MFT Teasers! So, what are your must-haves so far?!?! Dumb question, right?! Ha! Ok... moving on ;)

Here are the details about the upcoming release on April 3rd at 10 PM EST:

  • You can attend the New Release Party on April 3rd from 8-10 PM EST HERE in the MFT forum, where you can enjoy fun, games, and PRIZES!

Today we are featuring Clearly Sentimental about Anniversaries. This set comes with 7 sentiments in a lovely mix of fonts. Once again, I used the new Circle Stax and the Fishtail Flags Stax. I can't say enough about these!!! I also used one of the new Mini Doily Circles, as well as the new Pinking Edge die-namic. There's also one of the Dizzy Doily Duo die-namics peeking out under the circle layer (part of it is cut away because the sketch, DS45, called for it) and I just had to use the Royal Rose die-namic as an accent. A little piercing, some cool grayish bling, gray taffeta and a pin finish it up!

Here's a peek at the inside... I love the extra little pizazz the Pinking Edge die-namic adds.

Thanks a BUNCH for stopping by! {I know you're here to see the MFT goodies, but I still appreciate your super sweet comments!} Alright - tomorrow... Same time, same place!!!

MFT Teasers - Day 2!

Hi and welcome to DAY 2 of MFT Teasers!!! I know you're here to see the amazing new stuff so let's get to it!

Here are the details about the upcoming release on April 3rd at 10 PM EST:

  • You can attend the New Release Party on April 3rd from 8-10 PM EST HERE in the MFT forum, where you can enjoy fun, games, and PRIZES!

Today we are featuring Inspired by Knowledge and Kung Fu Fred. Here's my card using the Inspired by Knowledge set...

I cut one of the sentiment from the set using the Fishtail Flags Stax! Oh, these. are. so. COOL! I also stamped the graduation cap using crumb cake ink on kraft cardstock. The black layers were distressed (except for the black fishtail flag stax layer). Can you guess what tool I used for the first time in, like, forever?!! My spritzer! Yep, I spritzed the sentiment layer! A peek at the inside...

Here's a detail shot. I kind of wanted a tassel sort of look and thought this gold string worked. Added a little key because knowledge unlocks doors, no?! :)

Now for my Kung Fu Fred card! Look at that face! He means business! Again, I used those must-have Fishtail Flag Stax, to include the negative, which I also love! The wood that Fred has kung fu kicked is one stamp, but I cut it out and popped it up so it really looked like the pieces were flying! He's colored with copics and cut out with the new Circle Stax!!! Yea, baby!!!

A peek at the inside... MORE fun Fishtail Flag Stax and another sentiment from the set.

Thanks for stopping by! Hope to see you back here tomorrow for MORE teasers!!!

Hugs,

MFTWSC65 - Ready for Easter?

Hi! Well, if you're not quite ready for Easter, maybe this card will help you?! Ha! For this card I've used the PI One Sweet Chick ~ and that is definitely what she is! Her dress and the eggshell were paper pieced, everything else colored with copics.

Here are all the die-namics I used... leafy flourish, medium scallops, mini rolled roses, Homespun Birdhouse (for the "grass" she's sitting on, it's the bottom of the birdhouse!), dizzy doily duo, and the small scallop border. Yea, I totally LOVE my die-namics! I sponged around here with pretty in pink and added little clusters of bling here and there.

Detail shot...
Thanks for stopping by! See you *SOON* for day 2 of MFT Teasers!!! Wahoo!
