Have a Beary Good Birthday

Hi all! I'm back with another card I made, this time using the MFT set Polar Bear Pals. This was made for their World Card Making Day challenge - ROYGBIV. I colored the bear with Copics, then used a star stencil (MFT - retired) and MFT inks for the background. I added a little shimmer with my clear Wink of Stella marker to the scarf and stars. I layered some MFT black and white patterned paper to break up all the white.

MFT Card Design Supterstar Contest - 3rd card!

Hi all! Here's my final card for the Innovative category of the MFT Card Design Superstar Contest. I got the idea for this one after watching THE Jennifer McGuire's video for tunnel cards. This one was SO fun to make! :) I used the Bitty Bears, Birthday Bears and Up in the Air stamp sets. The black and white patterned paper is from MFT, as well as the cotton candy and black licorice cardstock. All images were colored with Copics. I did add a little shimmer to all of the birthday hats and banners with a clear Wink of Stella pen. I curved the sentiment so it matched the banner die-namic that is in a retired Blueprints set. I also stamped some of the cardstock with the Itsy Bitsy Polka Dots BG stamp using ripe raspberry ink.

Let's Celebrate

Hi all!  I colored up this cute new PI for Kathy Rac's coloring challenge and also the MFTWSC397. I used Copics for my coloring. I curved the sentiment to match the curve of the scalloped circle die-namic (retired).  I also stamped the scalloped circle die and the Grapesicle layer with the Itsy Bitsy Polka Dot background.

You mean the World to me

Hi all! I made this one for the MFTWSC392 challenge and their current color challenge #96. Need to relax a bit and take your mind off things?  Create a 'galaxy' background!  SO much fun!  No right or wrong, love it!  ;) I colored the Space Explorer image with Copic markers.

Life without you...

Hi all! I made another card for the MFT Summer School challenge. This one was to use primary colors.  I kept it small and simple by using them on this cutie's umbrella from the Bitty Bears stamp set. I used the cloud stencil and die-namics from an older Blueprints set for the sun to create an outside scene. The 'window' was created with one of the Blueprints 29 elements. The sentiment is from the Town Bear stamp set.

Have a delightful day

HI all! Here's a card I made for the MFT Stamps Summer School 2018 Day 1 challenge: White Space. Well, my 'white space' is kraft colored :) I used an image from the BB You Gnome Me stamp set with a sentiment from the retired Sweet Forest Friends set. I used a (retired) Pierced Circle STAX die-namic to emboss the card base then layered the image over it creating a highlight. A trio of clear sequins add a little something extra, as do the rounded corners.

Happy Birthday Puppers Box Card

HI all!  I finally got around to creating a pop-up box card using the Scalloped box card dies along with the Canine Companions MFT stamp set. This was just as much to make as I had hoped it would be!  My niece loves dogs and will be celebrating her birthday this coming week so I'm sending it to her - hoping she loves it! All of the patterned paper and Cardstock is from MFT. The images were colored with Copic markers.

The Card Concept Challenge Time!

Hi all! Welcome to a new challenge on The Card Concept Challenge Blog!  I broke out some Birch Press Designs cover plate dies and stamps.  I used the three Peony Bloom Layer cover plates and smooth white cardstock to start.  I then cut out one of the flowers and used Copic markers to color the flower that I kept. Mom, if you're reading this look away because this is your Mother's Day card!  ;)  The sentiment is from the Dragonfly Greetings set.  I used my Mini Misti to separate it since it is all on one line.

Have a Super Day

Hi all!  Here's my take on the latest MFTWSC381 using the You're Super set (I have the original released a couple of years ago, I believe). I colored her with Copic markers.  I did a tone on tone look with the New York skyline die-namic using Sno-Cone and Grout Gray cardstock.

And if you're the praying type, I'd ask that you say one for my Aunt T (short for Tricia) - she is in very poor health.  She has had MS over half her life but it looks like cancer will be what takes her.  She is one of the sweetest people I know.  Thank you.

Thanks for stopping by!
