Thinking of ewe

Hi all!  Here's a card I made for the Reverse Confetti's latest SFYTT47.  I couldn't resist this little lamb from the All About Ewe set, along with the matching dies.  I colored the lamb, fence and flowers/grass with Copics, using my colorless blender to create her spotted wool.  ;)   The patterned paper is from the Posh paper pad by Simple Stories.  The sentiment was embossed with white EP.

Coffee Lover's Spring Blog Hop!

Hi all!  It's time for the Coffee Lover's Spring Blog Hop!  You can read and join in on the fun HERE. I've created this card with the SugarPea Designs Caffeine Addict stamp set.  SugarPea is one of the super sponsors so check out that post HERE.  I paper pieced this sweet little cuppa using the Posh paper pack (so gorgeous!).  The glitter strip is actually a piece of washi tape.  A few little YNS Gumdrops add the finishing details.

Be SURE to play along with the Coffee Lover's Spring Blog Hop because there are LOTS of PRIZESSSSS!

Happy Toile Birthday

Hi all!  Here's a card I made using a couple of sets from Lil' Inker Designs new release, along with an older set.  Laura had mentioned that the Vintage Flower Stamps were designed with toile in mind {hence the 'Vintage' part, lol}, so I thought I'd made a classic blue and white toile card.  I created my own pattern {with the help of my Mini Misti tool that I just used for the first time!} with Cornflower ink on Sweet Tooth card stock.  I then used the Vintage Label die to cut out matching Cornflower card stock, then embossed two of the stamps from the Vintage Label Sentiment stamp set.  The 'Happy Birthday' is from the Sketched Floral stamp set - it fits so perfectly with the Vintage set and die!  I used the Quilted Stitched Pattern die on the Cornflower card stock layer to add to the vintage feel.  I might just have to make a whole rainbow set of these cards!

Don't forget to be awesome!

Hi all!  Am I the only one that can't believe 2016 is just days away??!?  Crazy!  I hope you're all having a wonderful holiday season and spending it with those you love.  This is possibly my last card for this year so I thought I'd make it a little reminder for all of us as we head into the new year - don't forget to be awesome!  :D  The flowers are from the Waffle Flower set, DT Mix and the sentiment is from their In Every Way stamp set.  I inked the flowers and leaves with my Zig pens then stamped them onto watercolor paper.  Once they were all stamped, I spritzed them with water.  Well, I spritzed them a bit too much and lost most of the outlines of the stamps, so I inked them again and stamped them again where I had originally.  Pretty happy with the end result ;)  I added some clear sequins to the flower centers.  The card base is MFT's Gravel Gray.  I stamped and embossed the Garden Flourish BG stamp with silver pearl EP.  I love that embossing powder because it kind of takes on the color of whatever it's embossed over.

Thanks for stopping by and in case I don't 'see' y'all until next year *wink*, Have a Safe and Blessed New Year!  And oh yea, don't forget to be awesome!

You splatter to me

Hi all!  Here's a card I made using the Oh Splat stamp set by TAWS.  I dampened a piece of watercolor paper, then inked my 'ink splat' images using distress inks then stamped them onto the damp paper.  Because the paper was damp, it made the ink spread.  Once I was happy with the look, I heat set it, then added my sentiment and clear sequins from Butterfly Reflections Ink.  The sketch is from the CAS133 challenge.

Thanks for stopping by!  AND you'll want to head over to the TAWS Blog because our Sneak Peeks started TODAY!!!  You still have time to enter win!

Bestest Wishes

Hi all!  Here's a card I made using new MFT goodies and their current sketch, MFTWSC238.    The sentiment is from the Birthday Wishes & Balloons stamp set which I embossed with white EP.  I also used the matching dies for my watercolored balloons.  I received my Blueprint Sketch Ranger ink pad today {thanks for the FAST shipping, Vanessa!!!} so I had to try it out, it's such a beautiful blue!

I miss you, beach

Hi all!  I wanted to share this card I made for the MFT School - Quiet Space lesson.  This is the first time I've had to ink up the Penguins in Paradise set - it's so stinkin' cute!  I stamped the palm tree and beach ball with Versamark ink and embossed with clear EP.  I used my Zig pens and my Aquapainter to create the rest of the scene.  And really, I'm telling the beach that I miss it.  Seriously.  We lived in Hawaii for 3 years and I enjoyed every minute of it.  ;)

Make a bright wish!

Hi all!  Here's a fun card I made using a sentiment from Lite Brite with an image from the Slurp stamp set.  I made the background with two distress inks and lots of water spritzing and heat drying and more spritzing and more drying.  Fun stuff, I tell ya!  The image is embossed with black EP and I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens to color it in.  I stamped the sentiment separately onto fishtail flag STAX, leaving the ends loose then flipped them up a little just for fun.  The colors are from the CTD347 challenge.

Roaming over...

Hi all!  I wanted to share this card I made using the TAWS set called Buff.  He is our FREE when you spend $40 set this month!!!  I used 4 different Copics and a pointillism technique to color this bad boy.  I then fussy cut him and popped him up over some cool, earthy dp from the True Friend paper pack.  The sketch is the Sketch Challenge 529 over on SCS.

Here's a peek at the inside where I finished up the sentiment.  :)

YNS DT Dare - You're so Sweet!

HI all!  It's time for our YNS DT Dare and this month, the challenge is to make a project using red & white ~ just in time for Valentine's Day!   I guess you could say I'm slightly addicted to making shaker cards because here's another one!  ;)  I used one of the super cute heart lollipops from the Sweet and Cool set.  I colored it with Copics then used the matching dies to cut it out.  I used the stitched line die along each side of the white layer.  Love how it turned out!  The sentiment, also from the set, was stamped on the smaller 3D banner die set pieces.  The pretty red sequins are from the Tinsel & Co sequin pack.  I used grout gray card stock to make the red and white pop.

Your Next Stamp - January Release Sneak Peek!

Hi all!  It's time for us to kick-off our YNS January release and we have some FUN sneak peeks for you!  We're adding a new character to the mix and let me say, I just love this wild and crazy guy!  The set is called Perfect Chemistry.  I colored him with Copics then fussy cut him.  The sentiment, just one from this cool set, was stamped with sweet tooth ink then embossed with clear embossing powder.  This is my first shaker card EVER and it was so much fun to make!  The sequins are from the Teresa Collins Tinsel & Co pack.  I got the sketch from the featured stamper challenge on SCS.

Thanks for stopping by!  Stop by the YNS Blog to see all the sneaks!
