Hello Friend

HI all!  I was one of the lucky winners of this beautiful Gina K Designs stamp set from Kathy Racoosin's The 30 Day Coloring Challenge recently. I couldn't wait to ink it up!  I stamped on a natural card base and colored the flowers with Distress Oxide Inks - they work so well on colored cardstock! Because this is a one layer card, I added a little dimension by adding glossy accents to the red flowers.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hello

Hi all! Here's a card I made for the MFTWSC395 challenge. I used the Flashy Florals set and a sentiment from the Brushstroke Expressions set. I always love pink and green together.

Pretty in Pink

HI all!  Happy Thursday - yes, I'm posting a day late ;)   Almost Friday!!!  I have a pretty in pink Hello card for you today using the following Honey Bee Stamps products:  Lotus Blossom stamp and matching die, A2 Double Stitched Frames die, and the Hello dies.  This little stamp sure can pack a big punch when embossed!  I embossed the outer edge of my pink lemonade card base, then added a few extra around the sentiment.  I love the layered Hello dies - such a cool look!  I added a few sequins to the Lotus tucked under the 'hello'.

Washi Tape Hello

Hi all!  Yay, we're halfway to Friday!  :D  Here's a pretty simple no-stamping card using Honey Bee Stamps Zen Bouquet Washi Tape and their Hello die.  I also used two of the A2 Double Stitched Frames Dies to cut out the smooth white card stock and the washi tape background layer.  The 'hello' was cut out then I layered the white card stock over it with foam adhesive to cover it up ;)

Hello

Hi all!  I hope you all had a great 4th of July yesterday!  I'm back with another Honey Bee Stamps card today!  The Country Blooms set is just Gorgeous!  I colored them with Copics then used the matching dies to cut them out.  I layered them around two of the Hello Honey Cuts - one in black card stock, the other in vellum.  I love adding background dies in the same card stock as my card base - just a little extra texture and interest without taking away from the main images.  Here, I used the middle Hexagon Cover Plate.

CAS-ual Fridays Challenge Time!

Hi all!  Yay for Friday!  Time for another CAS-ual Fridays Challenge!  This time, we're inspiring you to use those patterned papers you've been hoarding ;)  Here, I used the 4 Petals Fri-Dies (that match the Wallflower stamp set) to cut out some different papers from the same pack.  I popped them up with foam adhesive within a die-cute frame.  The sentiment is from the Wallflower stamp set - it's retiring!  Grab it while you can!

We would love to have you play along with us!

CAS-ual Fridays Challenge Time!

Hi all!  Happy Friday!  It's time for a new CAS-ual Fridays Challenge!  This week we have a very cool sketch for you!  I broke out the 4 Petals Fri-dies for this one.  Now, there was no special trick I used to line up the die.  I just eyeballed it.  It's not perfect and I'm ok with that.  ;)  I used a Jennifer McGuire trick and adhered strips of card stock to a separate piece of scrap paper and adhered the black die-cut card stock over the top of it with foam adhesive.  The sentiment is from the Wallflower Stamp set that is retiring (so grab it will you can!!!).

Thanks for stopping by!  We hope you'll play along with us!

The Card Concept Challenge - Hello

Hi all!  It's time for another challenge on The Card Concept Blog!  You are sure to be inspired!  I loved the colors and all of the flowers from the inspiration picture, so I broke out my Flashy Florals set from MFT.  I added sequins to all of the flower centers.  I cut out 'hello' die-namic three times - once with Sno Cone card stock, the other two with white card stock then staggered them slightly when adhering them so you can see a tiny bit of the Sno Cone card stock.  The flower layer and card base are Primitive White card stock.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs,
Angel
