Coffee Lover's Spring Blog Hop!

Hi all!  It's time for the Coffee Lover's Spring Blog Hop!  You can read and join in on the fun HERE. I've created this card with the SugarPea Designs Caffeine Addict stamp set.  SugarPea is one of the super sponsors so check out that post HERE.  I paper pieced this sweet little cuppa using the Posh paper pack (so gorgeous!).  The glitter strip is actually a piece of washi tape.  A few little YNS Gumdrops add the finishing details.

SugarPea Designs - Mix It Up Challenge

Hi all!  SugarPea Designs has another fun Mix It Up Challenge this month!  I used the sketch this time but turned it to work with my image from the new Chunky Monkey set.  I colored him with my Zig pens on watercolor paper then used the matching dies to cut him out and popped him up with foam adhesive.  I used two different papers from the awesome Life is a Carnival paper pack.

Today, I've used the CarnivalScape SugarCuts and paired it with a sentiment from the StoryBook Circus stamp set.  I used two different shades of blue and a green for the CarnivalScape SugarCut, then layered all three over a sheet from the Life is a Carnival paper pad.  The sentiment is embossed.

SugarPea Designs New Release Blog Hop - Day 4

Hi all!  So, what is your favorite new SugarPea Designs product so far?!  WAIT!  Before you answer that, you HAVE to check out the stamp set and SugarCuts we're featuring today!  The stamp set is  called What's Poppin'?, matching SugarCut, of course.  How sweet is she?!   AND we have a new Striped Background stamp AND this super fun Popcorn Treat Box SugarCut!  Oh. Em. Gee.  I made this fun little gift card holder.  I colored her with Copics, as well as the butter on the popcorn.  I stuffed the box with tissue paper and filler, then attached toothpicks to the popcorn, girl and gift card so they would stick up.  I used a removable glue dot on the back of the gift card.

SugarPea Designs New Release Blog Hop - Day 3

Hi all!  It's huuuuump daaayyyyyy!  But even better it's Day 3 of the SugarPea Designs New Release Blog Hop!  Today we are featuring the new stamp set and matching SugarCuts called Stay Strong and also the new Starburst cover plate!  Can I say, I just looove this big guy!  He's so fun to color!  I added some glossy accents to the barbells.  I sponged some red and blue inks onto smooth white card stock before cutting it with the Starburst cover plate then adhered it with foam adhesive to the card base.

SugarPea Designs - Mix It Up Challenge

Hi all!  Can you believe it's February?!  Geez!  Time for a new SPD Mix It Up Challenge - check it out here!  I used the no-line coloring technique to color this image from the Love You Bunches stamp set.  I cut it out and the scalloped layer using the Birthday Journal Card SugarCuts.

SugarPea Designs - I Wuff You

Hi all!  I'm here with my card for this month's SugarPea Designs monthly blog challenge! This month's theme is Anything Goes which is always nice because you're free to use any sketch, inspiration and theme your little heart desires.  For my card, I broke out the super cute Hot Diggity Dog stamp set.  I colored the pup with Copics, then created a background with the doghouse that's in the set.  I colored in the house with my W1 Copic, just to add a little something to it.  ;)  The sentiment is embossed with white EP.

SPD Mix It Up Challenge - Grateful for You

Hi all!  Welcome to another SugarPea Designs Mix It Up Challenge.  This month we are still working with the Anything Goes theme!  For my card, I did some watercoloring using my Zig pens and stamped a sentiment from the Lovely Leaves stamp set directly onto the background.  I then layered part of the Homescape SugarCuts die over it then adhered then entire piece to my smooth white card base.  A nice, quick thank you card because we all know how nice it is to feel appreciated :-D

SugarPea Designs - Mix It Up Challenge

Hi all!  Hope you're having a great week so far!  Here's my card for this week's SPD Mix It Up Challenge!  It's an easy one because it's 'Anything Goes' - so you're free to use any sketch and/or inspiration picture!  This dragon from the Blow Me Away stamp set has always been a favorite of mine.  I colored him with Copics.  I cut out the patterned paper from the It's a Celebration paper pack using the Birthday Journal Card dies, along with the white layer.  The dots on the small grape jelly card stock strip were done using one of the Celebrate All the Things stamp set.
