Sparkly Day

Hi all!  Here's a card I made using the Reverse Confetti set, Unicorn Wishes.  It's so cute, I couldn't resist it!  I did some masking to create the scene then colored everything with my Zig pens and an aqua brush.  The star garland is also from RC - I added some glittery Stickles to the white garland.  I also brushed over the unicorn with my clear Wink of Stella pen.

TAWS - Love U

Hi all!  Need a quick Valentines/Anniversary/Just because card?  Well here ya go!  The sentiment is from the TAWS Bubbly set.  Seriously love this set because of ALL the possibilities - coloring, paper piecing, and here, I filled in the letters with Stickles.  The heart banners are from the Cake Day set {another awesome must have if you ask me!}.  I colored most of the hearts with Copics and even masked a section of them so they could overlap.  The hearts that I left blank were also filled in with the same Stickles.  I used that cute sheet of dp from the True Friend paper pad to continue the heart theme.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Head over to the TAWS Blog for more inspiration and a coupon code good for January ONLY, so get to shopping!  ;)

A recycling Elzybell challenge

Hiya! This weeks' challenge was "recycling" and were to interpret that however we wished. Soooo, my recycled things are the ribbon ~ under the Party Teds it says "making memories" because it was wrapped around a Making Memories Christmas gift I got in 2007! And also the bits of dp you see are from a project I worked on almost 2 mths ago. Those should count, right?! Aren't these Party Teds the sweetest?! Ok, so I say that all the time, but it's true! This is a 4x4 card. I also added the "just for you" sentiment to the inside and colored the stars around it w/ my celery and garden green markers to match the dp. Hope ya likey and check out what the rest of the DT made! Oh, and I may have gotten the hang of my copics ~ am I right that shorter strokes work better than longer ones? The left ted was colored using longer strokes and the right ted was colored using shorter strokes. (different colors, of course) Maybe it's me, but I think right ted is blended better. Ok, I'm rambling! Oh, and I sponged the sky and grass for the Flourishes blog challenge!

Thanks so much for all the thoughts and prayers regarding my Mawmaw. The service was beautiful, the boys behaved wonderfully and it was nice seeing some family that I hadn't seen in probably 20 years.

card info: stamps ~ elzybells UK. paper ~ celery, ww, garden green, lime rickey by basic grey. ink ~ black. access. ~ copics, SU markers, sponges, piercer, glitter pen, ribbon.

hugs,
