Hi all! I'm back with another card for the MFT Card Design Superstar contest because, well, you gotta be in it to win it! FINGERS CROSSED! Here's my coloring virtuoso card using the BB Mermazing set. The small island is from the Party Like a Pirate set and the sentiment is from the Beach Buds set (it seemed fitting for this card). :) I used several MFT inks. You can even see a few stars that I stamped in sweet tooth ink from the retired Totally Happy set. I used a white gel pen to add a bit of glisten to the water and also some dimension to her tail.
Thanks for stopping by!

I'm so happy for you
Hi all! I'm a bit late, but still wanted to post this card I made for the MFTWSC365 challenge. I had fun with distress inks and the Color Drops STAX die-namics. The sentiment is from the Town Bear stamp set. The card base and main layer are Grout Gray cardstock (one of my faves!).
Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Pawlidays
Hi all! Here's a card I made using new goodies from MFT (couldn't resist those pups!) for the MFTWSC356. I sponged the background with peach bellini and tickled pink inks, then used Copic markers to add some dots, then spritzed with water for even more dimension. I masked the tree while doing all that sponging and spritzing :) The Pup and sentiment are up on foam adhesive.

Hello shaker
Hi all! We're shaking things up on the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge Blog! I embossed the Modern Petals image with white embossing powder then sponged over the center with sour apple ink and the edges with lush lagoon ink. The sentiment is from a recently retired CAS set. Shaker cards are so fun, I really need to make more of them! Don't forget to play along with us for your chance to WIN! :D

Celebrate!
Hi all! Here's my spin on the sketch challenge MFTWSC348. I used 3 different Ranger Oxide Inks to create a cool watercolored background then used the Celebrate Speech Bubble die to cut it out. I used the same three inks to sponge the background, then adhered the die over the top with foam adhesive. The sentiment is from an older set and is embossed with white ep and was cut out using an older Blueprints element.

Bold Thanks
Hi all! Here's a card I made for the MFT Camp Create Day 3: Background Bonanza. I used the Framework stencil to sponge on two different blue inks (blueberry around edges, Blu Raspberry in the middle) onto smooth white card stock. I then offset the stencil just a bit, and added a third blue ink - Tropical Teal - and sponged it again. I like the shadow effect it created! I then used a retired 'Thanks' die to cut out the background layer I had created, as well as the card base. I cut it out 5 times, then adhered it inside the card so when you open it, you can still see it. The stamped sentiment is from the Grateful For You stamp set that I embossed with white embossing powder onto black licorice card stock. I added a few clear sequins as an extra detail.

Happy flowery birthday
Hi all! I'm here with some flowery-goodness using the Honey Bee Stamps set, Country Blooms. I'm kinda totally obsessed with this set. ;) I colored them with Copics then used the matching dies to cut everything out. I used the smallest of the Hexagon Layering Background Stencils to sponge in some color on the layer directly behind the flowers and sentiment. The sentiment is from the Happy Everything stamp set - I loooove the mix of fonts!

You are Fintastic
Hi all! Well, we're halfway through the week - we can DO this! ;)
So I have to say that this has to be in my top 20, maybe top 10, favorite cards that I've ever made! It makes me so happy when I get an idea and the finished project turns out better than imagined. The new Honey Bee Stamps set, Mermaid Song, is a large set with so many possibilities! This mermaid is a good size, perfect for taking center stage of any card! I colored her with Copics then fussy cut her and layered her over a smooth white card base that I had sponged with two blue inks, Blu Raspberry and Blueberry, and spritzed with water. I curved the 'fintastic' sentiment for more interest.

CAS-ual Fridays Inspiration Challenge!
Hi all! It's time for a new CAS-ual Fridays Inspiration Challenge. This week it's about Friendship, so I had to break out the Mon Ami stamp set and dies. I used lemon drop and orange zest inks on my card base then layered a circle die over that. I also sponged the sentiment banner. The flowers were colored with Copic markers then adhered with foam adhesive.

You are fiercely awesome
HI all! Here's a card I made for the MFTWSC342 using the new stamp set, Fierce Friends. I did quite a bit of masking here. I colored the not-so-fierce tigers with Copics, then used grape jelly, orange zest and lemon drop inks to sponge the background. A little spritzing with water adds such a cool look - I'm obsessed! I also used Copics to create the grass.

Salty Kisses & Mermaid Wishes
Hi all! I'm back with another mermaid card because HOW CUTE are these new Honey Bee stamps! I colored the Ocean Bliss mermaid with Copics. She is popped up on foam adhesive over a background that I created by sponging two different blue inks onto watercolor card stock then spritzed with water. The sentiments are from the larger set, Mermaid Song and are embossed with white embossing powder onto black licorice card stock. I also added the crab and starfish from the Mermaid Song set. :) I'd love to know what your favorite set is from the new release!

Sending you a Smile
Hi all! I'm so excited to be sharing my first Honey Bee Stamps card as a member of their Social Media Design Team! I'll be posting every Wednesday so be on the look out ;)
For my card, I colored up the pretty little Lotus Blossom flower and used the matching die to cut it. The sweet 2x2 stamp is just SO cute! I colored it with copics. I stamped part of the sentiment from the Smile stamp set onto smooth white card stock that I cut out with one of the A2 Double Stitched Frame dies. I stamped 'Smile' with Versamark then embossed with silver embossing powder, then die cut it with the matching die. A clear mini sequin dots the 'i'. Everything is layered over my grout gray card base that was sponged with one of the Hexagon Layering Background Stencils.
Thank you for stopping by!

The Card Concept Challenge #73
Hi all! It's Hump Daaaaayyy and time for a new challenge on The Card Concept Blog! This week is a cool one that made me go with a little more of a distressed look - haven't done that in a bit! I used the Birch Press Design Paradiso Butterfly dies (layers A, B and C). I layered them together then adhered them to a background I created with an MFT background stamp. I sponged the edges of that layer with some Ranger Distress ink. The sentiment is also from Birch Press Design.
Hugs,
Angel
