Hi all! i'm here with a card I made for the MFTWSC349. I masked a few of the owls from the For Owl You Do stamp set, then fussy cut them. The embossed sentiment is also from that set. I cut it out with the pierced Fishtail Flag STAX. I stamped the cement gray card stock with a retired MFT BG stamp with grout gray ink.

Hello, Friend
Hi all! I'm here today with a card I made for the MFT sketch challenge - MFTWSC315. I was totally inspired by the sweet Jennifer McGuire ( I mean, who isn't inspired by her!?) and THIS POST. I used the Funky Flowers and Sweet Forest Friends (for the sentiment) stamp sets. I stamped the flowers on the edge of some Neenah card stock and colored them with Copics. I then cut out around the flowers and adhered it to my card base edge with foam adhesive. I stamped the leaves from that set with Natural ink (which matches the Natural card base). I cut out the sentiment strip with my trust ol' Pierced Fishtail Flag STAX and only adhered the straight edge, leaving the flag part loose.

You're the coolest
Hi all! Here's a card I made for the latest MFT Sketch Challenge - MFTWSC291. I used the super cute BB Penguins in Paradise stamp set. I colored both images with Copics - how about that yummy looking drink?! Everything is layered over a sponged background. The sentiment is embossed with white EP.

TAWS New Release Blog Hop!
Hi all! Welcome to the LAST TAWS New Release Blog Hop! I know, so sad, but we have some great sets we're releasing this month for you so let's get to it! I am featuring the new set called Point of View. It is such a FUN set! I decided to create a masculine birthday card {because I need them fairly often} and it was so easy to do with this set! I stamped the chevrons in cornflower blue ink, then layered over them with the open chevron stamp in sweet tooth pigment ink. That's it! A cool look in minutes! The sentiment is from the new Happy Everything stamp set.

Bring on the snow
Hi all! Ok, so I'm not really ready for snow, but this little guy on my card is! :D This is one of the many adorable images from the TAWS set Mistletoe Kisses. The sentiment is from Waddle Pals. I colored the snowman with Copics and layered him over a watercolored background. The sentiment was stamped with Sweet Tooth ink and embossed with clear ep. I added matching teal-ish and clear sequins for extra detail. I love this teal and Grapesicle color combo for Christmas cards! The sketch is from the SSSC290.

Happy birthday
Hi all! Here's a card I made using the FREE when you spend $40 TAWS set, Party Pooper, with a sentiment from an older set called Yappy. I embossed the kitty and balloons on watercolor paper, then colored them in with my Zig pens and an aqua painter. I then fussy cut them all and popped them up on foam adhesive. The sketch is from the SSSC287 and I used the colors from the CTD360.

It's your day, Smile!
Hi all! Happy Friday, whoop! Here's a bold but pretty simple card using two new TAWS sets - Big Time and It's My Party. I first embossed the word "Smile" with white EP onto white card stock. I then used cotton candy, ripe raspberry and blueberry inks to create an ombre look. Once I was happy with the sponging, I stamped 'It's your day' in black licorice, then added a few sequins for extra oomph! Wonky panels aren't always my thing, but they felt right for this bold card ;)

29 again?
Hi all! Here's a card I made using the new TAWS Flap Happy set, along with a sentiment from the FREE when you spend $40 set called Party Pooper. I decided to make this guy cooler and gave him shades. ;) He's colored with Copics, then fussy cut. I created the background with two different Ranger distress markers and the 'smooshing' technique then cut it out with some MFT STAX. The sentiment is embossed. I also made this for the Curtain Call Challenge - Shades.

Hello, Sunshine
Hi all! Here's my card for the MFTWSC244. I love this hula girl from the BB Polynesian Paradise set. I used one of the images to create a background then added some black thread behind her. It kind of gives the feeling of movement. ;)

Hip Hip Hooray!
Hi all! Here's a CAS card I made using the new It's My Party stamp set from TAWS. The turtles in this set are SO stinkin' cute! I colored him with Copics, then fussy cut him. I had to add some red polka dots to the present he's holding. ;) A few red gumdrops add extra detail. The sketch is the CTS139.

Happy everything
Hi all! Here's a card I made using the TAWS Penguins on Parade set - except I made my penguin a baby chick, hehe! I colored him with Copics then fussy cut him. I created the background using my Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens. The sentiment was embossed with sea foam white EP. The sketch is from the FMS200, just turned upside-down.

Howdy
Hi all! Here's a card I made using the TAWS Cha Cha Cha set. I created a mini scene (based on the CAS132 sketch). I colored this guy and the cactus with Copics then fussy cut them. They're both popped up with foam adhesive.

Sending rainbows and sunshine
Hi all! Here's a card I made using one image and one sentiment from the Oh Splat TAWS set. I inked the splat using distress markers directly on the image. I lightly spritzed it with water, being careful to not have the colors blend too much, then placed a piece of smooth white card stock over it. Turned out just as I had hoped! I then stamped the sentiment in black licorice ink and used my cross-stitched circle STAX to cut it out and popped it up on foam adhesive. I added a few YNS silver tinsel gumdrops for a little extra detail. Easy Peasy!

Fairy Kisses
Hi all! Here's a card I made using an image from the TAWS Fairy Kisses set. I colored her with Copics and added clear wink of Stella sparkle to her crown and wings. Also, her leafy headband was colored in with a gold glitter pen. The sketch is the SSSC273. The sentiment is embossed with white EP.
You can see the sparkle here... ;)

Hey little fella
Hi all! Here's a card I made using the TAWS set Little Fellas and this month's FREE when you spend $40 set, Gill-Friend. I'm loving that this month's release works so well with watercoloring! I used distress markers for the background and colored the images with Copics. I added some coral on the bottom so it looked more like the bottom of the ocean. :) I also added clear Wink of Stella shimmer to the starfish, which you can see in the 2nd pic...

You're Special
Hi all! Here's a CAS card I made using the newly released TAWS set, Hard Boiled. I decided I wanted to create a window, so I used an MFT STAX die-namics that would also leave a decorative edge on the outside of my window (love these!). I stamped the grass from the set several time in a row, then colored with Copics. I adhered the strip on the inside of the frame. I then tucked the chicken and her special egg just inside the window. To make sure the chick doesn't go anywhere, I made sure her rump overlapped the window edge, then adhered it there with Mono Multi glue. The dots on the blue egg are from a stamp that's in the set that I inked up with two different blue inks. The card base is MFT Primitive White, which isn't a crisp white and has lots of flecks in it.
Here's another view...
And a close up...
